First time outdoor grow

Progress… But noticed two leafhoppers and caught a tiny spider(spider mite) on a leaf. These were both on U2 along with holes in some leaves. Already not a big fan of outdoor growing. Lol. I like to control my environment! Feels like we just had rain every day for a month. Almost built an ark.

Into 5 gallon cloth pots, why not? Probably would have went into something larger but these were the biggest I had laying around. Hoping they stay wet longer.

Bone dry this afternoon. Fed them again. 2.5 gallons of feed each today in their 5 gallon pots. Thirsty girls.

Looking good! From the pictures it looks like a lot of leaf density. I would humbly suggest you keep an eye on that, it can trap moisture. If you are growing in the desert and even your overnight humidity stays below 50% you might be OK, or if you live in a place with consistent if not constant breezes or airflow. Another approach, maybe just train the branches apart more? Hard to tell from this side of the computer screen if they have the flexibility at this point for bending/training. Just a thought, otherwise, looks like very happy healthy plants!

They both have a lot of leaves. Humidity has been high here and have been considering defoliation for airflow. The bushy one already has weak branches were they connect to the trunk, early on the dog thought he'd try to rip some branches off. I wouldn't be surprised if they break when they gain weight in flower. The tall one has solid stems, those aren't moving either. A little defoliation may be the only choice.

Wow! Those have turned into some monsters. The stems are so thick on them at the base, i'm surprised to hear they don't feel more sturdy.
