New Grower First time growing. Time to say hello!

Okay guys need some advice! I've been searching for the perfect location in my apartment to dry my weed. The best I've found is around 27°c and 50-65 humidity according to my meter. I have a standing air conditioner running constantly, and a standing fan both in the same room. Is this okay to dry the weed in before jarring them? I did it with the bit i cut off and by this morning I bent the stalk and it gave a little crack and bent without snapping. So I decided to cut the buds off the stalk and jar it up. That was about 2 days drying maybe a bit less. That to me sounds too quick from what I've read...

Temp is a bit high but not far off really and for a the RH sounds about right for a nice slow dry, but yeah 2 days is too quick to have them dried to the stage they are ready for the jar. Sounds like you might have a bit too much air flow that might be speeding things up, how big is the space you are drying in and is the air from the fan or the AC hitting the nugs direct ?

At the moment I'm drying in my living room as that's the coldest room in the apartment! None of the fans are pointing directly at it, the weed didn't feel dry or crispy but I wanted to make sure that they didn't dry too quick so during the day while I'm at work I jarred it to even out the moisture in the weed then when I get home I'll take it out again and dry it over night

Don't sound so bad the way you describe the bud now, for me usually when the stems dry to a snap the buds are crunchy to the touch and can only feel moisture deeper inside them when given a crunchy sounding squeeze.

Better to jar them a bit wet and open and close jars to get the moisture down slowly, rather than having them dry to quick hanging and lose the chance of a decent cure. Just keep a eye on them and don't forget to pop the jars open to gas of the moisture and you will golden, or as i usually do get baked and forget to put the lids back on overnight lol.

Haha I'll try not to do that! And all this sun doesn't help either, I swear it intensifies fatigue especially after a smoke or two! But yeah the stalks didn't snap, just a small cracking sound and then bent and split down the side. But thought better safe than sorry! Now just have to stop myself smoking it before it's ready also the weight of those buds alone was 18g so I'm guessing there's still plenty of moisture inside

so quick update... I have just chopped down the rest of the blue amnesia plant, I have left it whole apart from cutting off fan leaves, leaving the sugar leaves on, given that I have higher temps here to dry I'm hoping this will help in slowing things down a bit. if things start looking a bit dry ill bag it up during the day like I'm doing with the other half.

I have decided seeing as I now have a free smart pot, my little Matanuska has now been rehomed. I'm hoping she likes her new upgraded abode! I reused the soil from the blamesia and fed with a healthy dose of fish mix, running double amount of water to give it a bit of a flush at the same time. out with the old in with the new as they say!!
