New Grower First time grower, Budget of $140 Soil, nutrients and containers. Organic advice appreciated

I Spent 60 in seeds 50 in nutes and have 90 remaining, so the seed cost wasn't factored into the 140$. The containers and green sand were a gift. Basically just need manure, perlite, peat moss and soil, maybe a ph kit. Might even have some left over for something extra :vibe:

Azomite, blood meal, organic cal n mag, and kelp meal(smelly) just arrived! Peruvian Seabird Guano will be here tom, now i wait patiently for my seeds! Anyone know how to track an international package? Can't quite figure it out. Thanks, Much love

All my nutes, minus the greensand. Sorry for the sideways pic, also thinking of getting some mexican bat guano (and molasses) for veg but I'm sure the blood meal and fish fertilizer could get me through:hookah:

Edit: to save some time. Full list : Fish fertilizer, Super Phos, Bone meal, Blood meal, Peruvian Seabird Guano, Organic Cal n Mag (the only quart nute in the pic), Neem Oil, Kelp meal, azomite and (not pictured) Green Sand

Nice selection of nutes

We have a number of soil builders in the forums, who will be able to give some good advice.
I'm afraid I don'y find i get much time to build soils, but something I'd like to do in the future.
If your a downloader let me point you towards a an awesome video by Geoff Lawton one of the best permaculture experts out there it's call "permaculture soils by geoff lawton" of course if you like it you can buy it. Highly recommended.

Yeah I don't have the time myself or I'd mix it all together and let it cook in a garbage can! I will definitely be checking out Geoffs video now that you recommended it. Appreciate it brother man:yay:
Much love,

Introducing my extra Potassium source to get me through veg and flower. Plant doctor Gusher 0-0-26, anybody have any experience with this nute or should i wing it? :pass:

To make a compost tea? I've been thinking about it, would certainly help apply my nutes from what i've been reading
If you are going to do true organic growing then yes...activated aerated compost teas. Sounds like you have all the good ingredients in your mix, esp azomite & kelp meal. True living organic gardening you are feeding the soil, not the plants. you feed all the microscopic and macroscopic organisms in the soil (bacteria, nemotodes, arthropods, earthworms, etc) which will in turn provide a service to the plants by processing organic matter and making it available to the plant where in lifeless soil, these nutes would be normally locked up and unavailable to the plant. I am starting to believe that once you have the basis of a good soil mix, all the differing recipes on amendments start to split hairs if your soil life is in balance and firing, the plant will obtain everything it needs, the animals will keep the plant fed, replace nutrients via their waste products, and aerate the soil as they move around and you wont have to (or want to), till. :) good luck man
