Looks like too much water, but you should ask in the infirmary.

Sure thing. I'm pretty new to growing myself, I'm on my second and third plants now.
When watering, I just stick my finger in several spots and based on what it feels like, I can sorta guess what the bottom must be like based on weight and touch. I am pretty sure that I over-watered my first plant. The plant had really droopy leaves that resemble the leaves on your plant.
They also might droop in anticipation of night-time. I've noticed that with mine and have seen others say it enough.
Dunno though... Do you water till runoff? Maybe try less water next time and wait till you feel pretty dry soil when you stick your finger in the dirt.
I think it might also be a sign of nitrogen toxicity, but I believe your leaves would be darker if that were the case.

Thanks for your reply they have since perked up just the very tips now

A moisture meter is far more accurate than a finger and is a better trainer for an important part of growing.

Thanks for the reply i did try one at the start but it was crap so lobed it it said it was dry after i had just flushed the pots before i put seedlings in

@Dell boy :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome: Your plant is showing signs of Nitrogen toxicity ( too much nitrogen) There are three tools a soil grower should have in the kit. PH soil probe, PH pen and an EC meter. . For the soil probe get an Accurate 8 (or the clone) for the PH pen I use Blue Lab and for the EC pen I also use Blue Lab. Don't buy cheap ones, buy good tools or risk the loss of a crop.

Knowing the PH in the root zone is important. I am pretty sure you just overfed the plant but lets start with the PH.

What you need to learn about watering will come with practice. Here are the basic rules: Never let the soil dry out. Soil and or coco can become hydrophobic if allowed to dry. This means it repels water. This in turn will create dry pockets in the soil and roots there will die. If your soil - coco have accidentally dried out use a surfactant to help re-wet it. I like yucca powder. Don't let soil remain soggy by watering too much too often. Root rot, damping off, molds, fungus gnats and other problems start in soggy soil. When you do water water the entire pot. How to learn when to water starts before you plant the seed. Fill your container with fresh soil/coco and weigh it (heft it) this is the lightest weight and consider it a dry pot. Now slowly water until the soil/coco will no longer absorb the water and run-off begins; weigh the pot (heft it) this is the maximum water, the wettest the pot can get. The difference between wettest and driest is the maximum water weight, for ease of explanation lets just say the water weighs 20 pounds. When the pot loses 10 pounds (half of the water weight) it is time to water again. There is an art to watering.
