@Devon11 nice growing
watch the AN nutes, they’re pretty strong imo - I use ‘em and ended up backing them off to only 1ml per L for the entire grow on two decent sized girls in soil. my next run I’ll be hesitant to go much above it.
keep it up bro
@Froot n Fuel thanks for the advice. It's only the one white widow that seems to not like it. So I'm mixing her food with rodi water to weaken the nutes in it. Everyone else is doing fine at 2 ml per l. They get the first dose of carboload today
Things are moving along nicely. I was upset around weeks 2 and 3 because I wasn't happy with my progress. But things sure have taken off. I'm quite happy with how far the ladies have come. They are drinking about half a liter every day now.
Only two of my new seeds made it. So I'll be using ththe paper towel method from now on.
I knocked her over during her first watering, propped her back up with a bit of wire and she was fine with it lol
They’re pretty resilient little plants. I can’t wait to see them in another week or two when they’ve completely taken over that tent. You’ll be playing Tetris to water them!
A quick update and a picture.
Everyone is doing well. The tent is starting to get very crowded now. Poor seedlings, they are still getting light. Although not as much as I'd like.
I'm hoping enough people are following this that someone will answer this question. Now that my plants drink so much I always water to run off. What does everyone do about all the water that get in the bottom of the tent? Let it evaporate or clean it? Or water plants outside of tent? But moving them would be a big hassle every time
Don’t be afraid to nose around and check out other journals to see what people are doing. You can gain a lot of insight that can translate back to your own grow.
I grow in hydro, but people with soil grows generally have trays under their plants. I wouldn’t let the runoff “flood” the bottom of your tent and let the plants sit in it.
That being said, @wes is an experienced soil grower, let’s see what he recommends.
