Photoperiod First photo attempt

Bubba kush is a great plant and she seems to take alot of abuse, Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan baby! As FTF_damien50 said you don't need to top but if you do I find its real real easy to clone. I've heard seedman has a good old school bubba, my favorite is from humboldt seed. It's one of my favorite smokes, to relax & chill with, but good luck getting anything done. It tastes great and smells great, your going to be real happy with her nug size, stickyness & crystals, its got it all. I'm going to smoke a blunt of BC bubba kush right after work because I can't resist now.

No not particularly. She is very short. I'm not dead set on anything. What are your thoughts?

Photos are a learning experience for me so I don't usually do much of anything until I'm familiar with their growth patterns and general behavior. It has such tight internodes I'd be hard pressed to manipulate it in any way. I have a few strains that simply grow better when they aren't trained but had others that simply don't care one way or the other.

It's nice to have beautiful growth and not need to do anything. Your choice though

She likes dry conditions, being quite resistant to lack of rain. Sometimes you 'll get some pale purple in her if temps drop at night outdoors and resin production is amazing.

@FTF_damien50 I have half a mind to go the all natural route just to see how she performs unmolested.
@Mustang92 I will probably try to get a cut regardless. I noticed she's not into much humidity. Had to get a fan on her right away, wet spots between those fat leaflets within the first week or so. She's at 38-40% rh and I'm letting the pot go feather light, soil pulling away from the sides before watering.

"Pre 98" is a sales term. Bubba kush is simply bubba kush, lol. It's your basic indica plant with indica growth patterns. Shorter plants, that finish a tad quicker..You can be much rougher/experimental with photos due to their veg times. They can fully recover from almost any set back while vegging so don't be to afraid to play with it a bit.

2.5 weeks she seems to be doing good. I just watered before the pics again, I swear I'm not drowning her lol. Definitely different growth than I've seen with the autos, internodes are super tight, thick short little branches, fat leaves all bunched up. It's purty cool to watch.
Now say I was gonna top her, would I do well to do that soonish or let her grow some more? I'm thinking transplant is coming soon as well, sound about right? Ive decided I want to try to stick to organic dry nutrients, top dressed. Eyeballing the roots uprising line, any body have opinions on that? Thanks for stopping by.

I have been using the Roots Organics dry nutrients. I started with the player pack about 60 bucks. It contains all you should need for a complete grow. Very easy and forgiving to use also comes with a product catalog that contains instructions on use. I just sprinkle on top of the dirt work in with your fingers a little and your done. There is more to their product line also to get once you go through their catalog and see what may be better for your goals and ideas. I have chronicled my use in all of my grow threads.

I agree the pre98 means nothing, but Bubba kush is one of the most copycated strain going and I've seen different genetics in multiple versions of bubba kush by different companies but still called bubba kush.

@Mustang92 @Proph I'm not too caught up on the hype. Just after a heavily indica dominant plant to try out my hand at photos, they were free so no loss either way. Seems like she fits the bill so far. Appreciate the encouragement to experiment.
@Green Hornet thanks for the input on the roots products. I will check it out.
