You want to flush for the last two weeks of flowering, or else your smoke will be very harsh because of the nutrient residue left over...

Also, get yourself a jeweler's loupe off ebay for 5 coins... Looking at the triches is how you really know when to start!
Yes yes, flush until fan leaf really start getting yellow, then chop.

I generally start flushing when I see a small amount of Trichs become clear... I use a tiny little 30x magnifying glass. If you see more clear than cloudy, you waited to long, but flush anyway.

Not sure that's quite the right way around DG ^_^
Trichs start off clear, then they go milky and then most of the time they go amber (although some autos don't really amber up much)
For a head high I start flushing when mostly cloudy and for a body stone i'll wait until i see mostly ambers.

Not having a go here, just don't want new growers getting confused with the trichs
