I use a canna brush when I can. If your buds are dense and hard, it works really well. I usually clip the big fans, dry well and then brush. What I learned with some of this outdoor harvest is if the buds are light and airy, they will not survive the brushing, as the small buds fall with the leaves when brushed. Do not use on larf. Your buds look dense and ready to go! Nice job, man!

I will say weather brush or scissors drying upright makes a big difference on difficulty imho but verdict is our on brush for me till I get a pheno that is leafy caylax to leaf is always good on my ladies so they don't require much attention so I've not been able to test it the way I would like but soon I will.

My gelato falls into that catagory FOR SURE! LOL! Hopefully her buds will continue to swell and bring that ratio down atleast in bulk material.
Mmmmmmmm! I have my grow room door open and my exhaust fan on slow, just barely moving, to regulate my tent environment to where I need it. The smell of the drying herb is simply intoxicating! Dreaming of vaping this herb after curing!!!!!!!!!!!
Who am I trying to fool? Some is gonna get vaped as soon as it's properly dry! LOL!
I removed the 15 gal pot and moved Miss Wispy to the front under the SP3000. Moved the Gelato to the back and added height to make her level with the highest on Miss Wispy and then set lights to 20in high above them. Both got 3/4 gal of molasses water bottom fed.
The Gelato is getting some color in the leaves. probally end of life or a combo of that and cooler off cycle temps I'm trying to manage. Buds are still filling out and giving me hope she'll be a little easier to trim up when harvest comes. I'm still leaning to just chop, section, paper bag dry and CannaBrush it.
I'm thinking Miss Wispy's buds probally won't get to the same size and diameter as her sister. They are sure getting frosty and getting harder overall. With as many buds she has, that's gonna be a TON of tedious wet trimming! I'm seriously considering just making dry ice hash with her. The screened bowl system I found looks productive, not super expensive and looks pretty easy to do.

Do you or can you use the HerbalAire to vape hash with the Concentrate Kit? The taste should be killer.

I've never tried it but it should work well. Do you have the Elite or the H3? I have the H3 and it runs hot. Most vapes I like at 380F but the H3 I keep at 350F. And till get clouds THRU A BONG that can make me cough!

I've been keeping my exhaust fan at a fairly low setting to maintain the desired environment. The doors are all open. It's just easier that way and adds a buffer of sort. I get whiffs of the drying canna every once in a while from other places in the house, mainly bedroom. With this Covid crap, I don't leave my property much and only work in the shop less than an hour at one whack. I had crap to take care of and had to leave the house for a few hours. Upon return, I was greeted with a pretty prominent canna smell. It wasn't a hit you in the face smell, but you sure could tell what it was and it was quite nice.
I guess it was a good thing I showered and pulled freshly dried clothes from the dryer before I left out! LOL!
I think I'm gonna take a quick check of the bags to see their progress.
Grow room is 67*F and 62%. Tent is 70*F and 50%. I think that's a pretty good compromise between the 2 area needs......correct me if you think different.
edit......checked the girls and Miss Wispy is praying to the Mars and the Gelato is piling on the frost. I checked the trichs yesterday with my scope yesterday for anbers and couldn't find any and still a large amount of clears. While I'm eager to harvest and vape her frosty buds, I'm not sure if I'm gonna dry or wet trim with her. I may have to dry trim and use the brush on the super hard upper part of the bud and scissor trim the remainder. If I use the bag method for drying, I think I'm going to have to section some of the larger buds. Some buds are quite larger than what I just harvested and could be supceptable to mold and would dry far slower than the rest of bud.

Both girls got anther bottom feed 3/4 gal with MegaCrop and a little molasses to bring down the Ph. They took it up nice and quickly.

The last pic is pretty sweet! The Gelato33 is stacking on the trichomes! She's getting a little purple too.
I smoked some of the kief I harvested trimming the GG#4 with the test bud from her. DAMN good tasting and very nice clean high for both head and body. No couch lock............I had to test it twice to be for sure!
