I was wondering how much should I be watering these girls rite now I gave them 3oz of water this morning , and they are all recoving well from my un PH'd water. Any suggestions would be helpful I've read water twice a day but I'm unsure with these being young should I water the entire pot ?

They don’t need much . Sounds about right what you gave them. I am not a coco guy though.

You cannot overwater in coco ... if you are pure coco / coco and perlite - IMO water twice a day. There is so much space - there is no risk of drowning.

Manually - water around plant. If seedling till first sign of water run off. I use a syringe and water in concentric circles. Help the roots look outwards. Once two/three nodes water to 20% run off.

You cannot feck up in coco unless you add too many Nutes. Read your leaves closely. Minimum of 1/3 of manufacture estimates.

Airpots / self pruning is a must, again IMO. E

You cannot do coco IMO without EC and pH meters. It is a very reactive medium - you need accuracy.

I prefer to use an irrigation pump and water 1 x 15 sec per 2hr as seedling. 1 x 22 sec in veg. 1 x 30 sec in flower.

I only grow 4 plants - but they consume
> 15l per day.

I use an air pump in a reservoir to ensure max O2 gets to the roots.

I have a diy auto drain to waste to get the 20% excess off. The above is a total ball ache to do manually.

For the record, an air stone is also a massive fecker ... it shifts your ph of your nutrients by +2 per day. I had to use a peristaltic pump and ph controller... stoned rambling ... hold off on air stone :)

See my diary for how to on drainage system.

@jumper114 thanks for respond I was just wondering should I feed today ... well I have a ph meter just not EC will place a order for one i ordered some stuff for a drip system I got a pond pump etc I just got scared away from doing it on my first grow so I'll be reading your diary after I smoke. . They're in 5 gallon pots at week 2 I should water till run off huh @jumper114 ?

Personally I would. Take it easy as it will run off once saturated. Again, you cannot over water - only over feed.

I always use 20C warmed Nutes - don’t want to shock the roots. No idea if it is good/bad - just seems logical and the deep water guys do it. My large res is heated by fish tank heater, the small 5l is left in groom.

I use the 35 GBP plant irrigation pumps from Amazon - cheap and work well. Oh and on prime ;-), not sure I can link... but simple and will feed 4 plants in veg - 2 in flower. Readon why : limited to 99 sec dosage.

Oh if you are serious .... once you get EC pen - you may need a RO unit.

My shit tap water is 8.4 ph and 0.8!!! WTF!!! Yours may be good :)

Once you know - you can decide. Coco is a science / routine - know your starting point IMO !

Even more so if you use high power LED (Quantum Boards) - they love cal/mag!

Avoid lockout at all cost with autos!

Ok I'm using RO water currently.

Nice. So much easier :-)

An EC pen will help your great start! 1/3 nutrients or EC 0.3-0.4 pH down to 6.0. Gently raise by 0.1 each week till first sight of leaf tip burn. Then back off 0.5.

Using a 5l can, 1ml a + b = ~ 0.1 for me :)

I love Buddhas Trer solar power - IMO get some ASAP! Makes serious branches :)
