So I guess I tie the main stem from two inches up to one side and have one more tie on the opposite side at the new growth. I hope I pictured that right?

Just like this bro so that when ure pulling her over u don't uproot the main stem and it grows at an angle I'm no expert this is my first time also

So say ure pulling the top over to the left anchor the main stem to the right just like above peice brother

Just as @PabloDutchflowers says only train the new growth as the older growth is brittle
I just bent over the top slightly untill it was horizontal then the sides caught up in 48 hr then I started to tie them down so it opens up the plant it really makes them explode in growth bro hope this help

Yeah I didn't know to do this it was @bane8891 who taught me it really helps support the main stem as u can uproot it if ure a bit heavy with training also it'll grow at an angle aswell if u don't keep it straight and strong

Let's look at Bubblicious.

Yup. The little girl(or boy) got ponytails now. Happy little kid Bubblicious. It was tough getting around the top. I kindda made a circle with that pipe cleaner by taking one end go around the top growth, and lightly pinch the circle to hold everything together. You can see those tiny side branches are shooting out and they get to welcome the 300w sun shine.
