New Grower First Grow Newbie! 4X4 RDWC LED CBD

An update once I finally got out of bed!

6am
6°c outside
11°c in the garage
19.3°c at the canopy
16.6°c at the top of the tent
43%RH
Thermostat on 20°c
Water at 20°c
PPM 990
5.9ph!

I'm.pretty stoked with all of that - looks like I may have found my happy place!

QUESTION - the damaged leaves on one of the larger plants- 1. What does that look like?
2. Should I remove them?

Thanks all!

I’d leave the leaves on for now, Matt. They’ll still be some use to the plants.

I’ve had loads of autos struggle in the early stages then turn out to be monsters. In my experience, this stage of the grow doesn’t matter too much. If they get a bit upset it just adds time to the grow. Hopefully with all the tips you’ve got you’ll see them through puberty and into bloom, then it’s plain sailing. It’s the rapid growth bit that matters... if you get it right you’ll be up to your eyeballs in weed!

Thanks @Animatey.

So I see my options as being -
*raise the thermostat controlling the heater to 21 or 22c
*Close up the intake port to allow less fresh/cold air in
*I don't really want to turn the power up more on the heater for costs, and risk of it getting too hot too quickly.

If 15 is too cold, is 25 too hot? Should I just try and shift everything up a couple of degrees? Also, winter is coming (to an end!) So it won't be so crazy soon...

I'll be dealing with 40°c days instead hahaha

Even 29c is fine (in my opinion).

I like to keep my temps between 74f and 83f during the day, and 70f minimum at night. 65f at night not a huge problem, but I like to keep it higher when possible. I'm glad your winter is almost over dude!

Thanks Vlad. I'm relieved to feel that I may have the environment under control, so I can just focus on feeding and nurturing. Fingers crossed for a growth explosion!

Thanks dude, I think I'll shift up the thermostat a couple of degrees to keep things more 18-24, not 15-20!

Haha me too mate, I don't function well in the cold.

Is topping above the 4th node too early? Especially when these girls have already had a rough start? [HASHTAG]#torturer[/HASHTAG]

Haha! Matt. You remind me of me on my first grow. Just can’t stop fucking around with stuff! [emoji23][emoji23]

Like Frenjy says, probably best to leave them alone but... if you’ve got five plants.. [emoji848] now would be the best time to do it.

It’s your grow, maaaate! [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

Haha yesssss Vl-dAD... I'm excited! It's new and shiny and interesting.

Decision pending on 2 things- if I get pruning scissors on the way hone after work, and final health check on the biggest/healthiest plant of the 5.

Please don't take this as a sign of disrespect - asking a question (I already know the answer to), and then doing what I want anyway! [emoji1787][emoji1787]

I prefer a scalpel. Preferably rusty as fuck.
