New Grower First Grow - Mephisto - Jammy Dodgers #2 (4)

Looking good man! Despite the small issues I'd say you're set for a nice big harvest. You liking the DTE or MC more? Haven't tried it myself personally but I know tons of people use MC with success.

Sup Dank, thanks for checking out my update. I'm leaning more towards MC for now. It's so simple, you basically mix less than a teaspoons worth into your gallon of water, with your microbes and that's it. I studied F.N.'s grow journal for a couple of weeks before I even started growing so if you're really interested give it a read. I want to do another DTE run without any type of deficiencies before I decide which one I'll stick with (Wish I added phosphorous two weeks earlier). I also want to do a taste test, I have a feeling that less is more when it comes to this so the MC tent may be tastier.

Yeah I can feel that, I'm in the same boat with the DTE, I like it but it needs a little extra for certain plants to do well so I'm still on the fence. Everything is looking good so I'm definitely curious to see how it all turns out keep it up man!

Are you measuring ppm's on the DTE grow ?

And letting the MC girls dry before watering again ?

Cheers

When I feed the DTE tent they get 60ppm tap water, all of the other stuff I mix into a bowl and add directly to the top of the soil with some perlite to help with drainage.

The MC tent soil is never dry, bacteria and fungi hate dry soil so I put around 1500ml of regular tap water into a spray bottle and divide that up amongst all 8 so 187ml each daily at most(Day 22 volume of water) During seedling stage I give them 100ml each. (Every 7th day I split 3-4L of water mixed with MC and all of the other stuff). I'm increasing the volume of their daily water slightly every week (575ml each by day 50 or so) but the MC feed water will stay at 4L and I'll just increase the amount of MC/Increase the frequency if the leaves start to turn yellow.

Okay, reason I ask is it appears you have a nutrient lock out or deficiency. I don't see any vigorous praying action....

I thought you were using ProMix HP for the MC tent ? If so, MC does not need added microbes, the nutrients are available right away.

A wet/dry cycle works the best for me. Following along your grow I see droopy leaves, no praying. A sure sign of over watering.

The last picture does show one or two of them perking up, likely because they are large enough to start using the water they have been getting.

Cheers

BTW > the reason I say "MC does not need added microbes" is because ProMix HP already contains Mycorrhizae and MC does not need to be broken down to become available to the plant.

Cheers

I take a picture of the plants right after I water them so the leaves are actually quite heavy and droop. After a moment though they perk right back up. If you took a look at my tent at this moment you'd see them praying and leaning towards the light slightly.
