New Grower First grow let's show my friends what autos can do

After years of helping my friend grow I finally have started my own grow. Some of my friends say the usual bad things about autos but that's why I'm here so you can help prove them wrong. I've been reading for years on growing and helping for just as long so let's hope it pays off.

My setup is in my bedroom closet with a 2x4x5 tent. The light I built is 8 eb gen 3 slim 1190 cm 2 per 1 inch heatsink, powered by a hlg-320-42a currently at 200w for veg. For ventilation an Ac infinity t6, phresh 6x16 carbon filter, small Honeywell fan, and a humidifier. The medium is cyco Coco bitz rinsed and soaked in cal mag and going in air pots. To feed them I'm using cal-mag plus, canna Coco a + b, rhizo, pk 13/14 or bud explosion from Greenleaf, and recharge. Hanna 98128 ph meter and honeforest ec meter. Tent currently stays about 76f-80f and 60-70% humidity.

Currently in a 1 liter air pot I have a trident special 9 days from cotyledons opening. 2 blue Toof special just planted into a 1 liter air pot that had half inch roots from a paper towel. And germinating a second double grape as the first just stopped for a week after growing it's first real leaves. The trident special and double grape will be transplated into the red bottom 2 gallon equivalent air pots while the Blue Toof will stay in the 1 liter. I will be bottom feeding the 2 Blue Toof and probably the others as well.

You had me at bridgelux EB gen 3 build. I'm running a 500w gen build myself.

Thanks for the sub. So these grow pretty quick and a little over 12 hours later I'm noticing the new growth is yellow between the veins and the veins are still green. Also the leaf tips are curling up slightly. "A cannabis iron nutrient deficiency can look similar to a magnesium deficiency, but an iron deficiency will affect newer/upper/inner leaves, where a magnesium deficiency affects older/lower leaves." Which leads me to think it's iron, any help here?

For the first few feeds starting water is ~140ppm (.5 conversion) ~7.5ph, cal-mag added to ~200ppm, 2ml/l rhizo, .5ml/l a+b and 6.1-6.2ph.

Only 2 feedingings so far of cal-mag to ~250ppm, 2ml/l of rhizo, 1ml/l of a+b and 5.8ph.

Yesterday was 2 weeks in the 1 liter air pot for the trident so I decided to pot up to it final 2 gallon equivalent air pot which will be bottom fed. Holy #$&@ these roots grow fast, really zoom in on the pic towards the bottom and see the feeder roots creating a web of hairs. Also I've been misting it with cal-mag foliar.

The double grape had a tap root come out yesterday so into the 1 liter air pot it went. The 2 blue Toof opened up their cotyledons this morning and given some water to keep the top moist.

The second double grape failed to come above ground so I'll just be doing the three, hopefully the trident special will grow into a big plant and take over the tent.

The trident is doing well and was topped yesterday above the fourth node and it looks like it took it really well. Started to bottom feed today as a few roots are coming out the bottom.

Both the bluetoof are working on their second set of leaves and are currently being bottom fed.

Tag me next time as I didn't see this. IMHO it looked like they were possibly being underfed. They look better in the new pictures but still hungry

You don't need to add so much CalMag @Proph has an excellent write to concerning the addition of it in coco.

Day 25 for the trident and she is doing great after her topping, she's still a bush even under 3000k. Waited a week before doing any lst so I could get some branches to play with and after a day she's already pulling upwards. Roughly day 20 is when I noticed the beginning of pistils forming and today she's has some bigger ones. Last week's feed was 100ppm of cal-mag, 2ml/l rhizo, 2ml/l a+b, 1.4 ec I think, ph 5.7-5.8 depending on the day. This feed was watered down to 1.0 EC for the bluetoof. New feed is 100 ppm cal-mag, 2ml/l rhizo, 2.5ml/l a+b, 5.8ph, and total 869 ppm 1.8ec.

Day 12 for the bluetoof and they are almost identical 1 is slightly bigger the the other. Small pistils are beginning to form and there filling in the 4th node with the 5th forming. No training will be done on these. Will be getting a watered feed from the trident.
