Day 78
It was just a couple of weeks ago that I was thinking of chopping down Salona on the 18th. However with some new nutrients, I decided to feed her "one more time" and harvest on the 25th. At that time, most of the leaves had died and new growth was quick to yellow so I wasn't sure how much longer I could keep her alive.
For the past couple of weeks, she's been growing a lot of new, green leaves and other vegetative growth was starting to look healthier. The downside to that is that her buds seemed to have stretched some, to make room for some new foliage. So I have fed her "one more time" and have pushed the harvest to May 1st/day 90 with hopes that she will start to put more weight on her buds. Trichomes are still 65-75% clear so I figure the extra time can't hurt.
As if there weren't enough problems this grow, I seem to have adopted a family of fungus gnats. I think Salona is plenty big enough, so I don't expect them to be much trouble. I have made some pepper spray and it seems to have them under control as I only saw 3-6 of them the last couple of times I checked.

Salona's sister, Pasona finally broke the surface of her pot on Friday. She looked a bit odd with only 1 bean leaf instead of 2, but her first real leaves are growing as a pair so it may not be a mutation. But a new grow deserves a new journal so I will start one for her in a week or 2.
Thanks to all who helped me through this first grow. I can't wait to start curing and write a smoke report...

And I just noticed; Happy 4/20 everyone !
