New Grower First grow journal chronic ryder by joint doctor

Hey everyone,
I'm gonna get my first grow journal under way here"
I'll start by saying about my grow, i'm growing 3x chronic ryder seeds from joint doctor. I grew betty boo on my last grow and despite having one or two problems it turned out to be some very potent smoke and i would recommend them to everyone who wants some really nice stuff but the plants dont produce much as they are the smallest of the auto plants and i went with the chronic ryder as when i read up on them it said they produce alot for auto flowers and i wouldnt mind having enough so it will last from grow to grow.
Anyways back to the journal,
Like i said i'm growing 3x chronic ryder
tent: grow/darkroom bud box, not sure of name size: A=40cm-160cm, B=120-230cm which works out to about 5 and half 6' foot, not very wide but a good start.
Carbon filter: 6' inc bull bog
In line fan: 5' cant remember name.
Soil: plagron light mix
Lighting: 250w cfl to start off with for the first two weeks and then a 600w hps with a sunmaster duel spectrum blub and a maxibrite ballast, and i will use this throughout flowering but i might pull them out of my tent before the plants out grow it and use the 600w throughout veg and flowering.
Ph meter: essentials ph meter
Ec meter: essentials ec
Pots: 11tr i will use after the frist few days to a week as i fucked up and instead of putting the seeds straight into the 11ltr pots i put them in small startter pots so they would fit in my propagator.
Nutes: canna terra vega for the vegging and canna terra flores for flowering which i will also use flairforms bud storm for flowering additive. I have also got flairforms one part green dream grow and flower nutes also and i might go with these instead of the canna (but unsure)
I got my seeds about 3-4 weeks ago from a shop,
Germination: i went with the damp kitchen paper in a dark draw but i have also had good results with putting seeds into cups of normal tap water and they normally open within a day or two. Put my seeds in between some kitchen paper and 2 opend within 2 days but 1 didnt ( i had a total of 3 seeds) i let the little white bit come out alittle on the 2 seeds that opend. I put the 2 already open seeds into startter pots with plagron light mix and i also put the 1 seed that didnt open into a startter pot with damp light mix in the hope it will open in the pot soon in my propagator and put the 3 startter pots in there and today the first seedling broke ground in one of the pots as you can see in the picture, sorry for some reson im unable to put the picture up so ill try again after posting this thread.

Update... 5/11/2014

Still only one seedling above ground plus i've lost one seed lol I couldnt work out why the other seed that opend up between the damp kitchen paper the same time as the one thats already above ground. Before i put the seeds into starter pots hadn't poped his head above ground, after digging the soil up lightly with a cocktail stick the seed was there with the white bit but it was the same as when i put it in the pot so i've lost that one.
There's only one seed left now thats waitting to open in the starter pot in damp soil so im hoping that one will open and come above ground soon!
I'm picking the big bang 2 seeds from joint doctor on friday and ill put all 3 of those seeds into a cup of plain tap water to start them instead of the kitchen paper tho i have had very good results with starting seeds this way.
I was woundering if someone could recommend when and how much i should start feeding my seedlings considering i've never fed seedlings before? The canna nutes i have say to add 50ml to 10ltrs of water and that makes 100% feed. 5ml to 1 ltr of water would make a 50% feed and a 1/4 would be about 2 and a half ml to 1ltr of water if im right lol ?

Update.. 6/11/14

I've moved my 1 seedling out of my propagator and in to my tent under my 125w blue cfl, i have left the other 1 seed thats in a starter pot in damp light mix in the propagator in the hopes it will crack open soon!
I've got some more seeds coming tomorrow when a friend brings me some" i told him to make them the biggest and most potent auto flower's on the like Amnesia, big bang 2, and critical jack etc...
Well thats all i can say for today lol i forgot to say in my stats that my water for the grow is tap water which i let sit over night to 2 days in a watering can and then i ph it back down to 6.5-6.8 ready for adding feed or just watering" my tap waters ec is 0.1 and if anyone thinks ill need to add anything for that like addives or whatever yea.

Sounding good so far buddy; you should toss some pictures up of the plants and your setup!

Depending on your growing medium; typically the cotyledons (the two round small leaves that first appear from the emerging seedling) will feed the plant for about 2 weeks in or so. The nutrient content of what you're growing in can supplement your seedling or do harm to it (if there is too much fertilizer present.) That's why it's important to start them in a growing medium you know is suitable for their sensitive new growing root system.

You typically want to start your nutrients at 1/4 strength and work your way up. Starting with the feeding schedule suggested by the nute company isn't a bad place to start; or you can always do a search on here and see what others have found in way of a feeding schedule. Some people will do lighter feedings and feed with every watering, others do heavier feedings but feed/water/feed/water, etc etc. Start light and work your way up; it's better to try to prevent nute burn than have to deal with the consequence of it in my opinion.

My tent which has my 125w cfl at the moment, i'm gonna put my 250w cfl in the tent tomorrow, because the 1 seedling you see inside the tent in the starter pot is was only 3 days old when i put it under the 125w i kept it about 7-8 inc away from the blub.

The auto purple seeds my friend got me, apart from whats on the packet i know nothing lol

The 3 seeds in my propagator with a 50w t5 propagator light on top of the lid ready for when they brake through the soil.
Theres 2 auto purple seeds which got started in between kitchen paper, the 2 seeds had the little bit of white coming from the seed before they were put in the starter pots with plagron light mix. Theres also 1 chronic ryder seed in a starter pot in there aswell but the seed hadn't opend before i put it in damp light mix, i put lukewarm water in the pot every 2 days just to keep it wet and hope it opens soon.

Thats all the pictures i have taken for now, will post more as i go along. I forgot to mention in my last post that i watered the seedling i have with ph'd water at 6.5 and i put a drop of superthrive into 1 and a half ltrs of water" dont know if it would do anything but after all it says super consentrate on the bottle lol
I'm gonna start feeding next watering as the plagron light mix only has enough nutes in it for the frist week of growth and my seedlings coming up to that point on thursday coming" i've read somewhere about with what the seed has stored is enough for 2 weeks growth so thats confused me" because you hear people say to feed the seedlings once they got they second set of true leaves just like mine have now. I'm gonna go ahead with feeding my seedling with flairforms green dream no1 i have a bottle of grow, bloom and bud storm a additive, i'll start with only afew drops into a ltr and half of water which would out out about 0.1-0.3ml for the frist feeding? The bottle says for soil to add 4-5ml to 1lt of water but thats 100% so 2.5ml would make it 50% so 1/4 should work out about 0.3-0.5ml? If someone could help me out with a bit of info i'd be really grateful thanks for reading
