As I'm trimming buds, a lot more is going into the trim bag. What's weird is I got all these little M&M size resin balls that are little micro nugs on these frilly tops from the second stretch. There's some really tight sticky ones that are going into the primo jar with the primo nugs, the mid grades to the curing jars, and the low grade and misc plant material into the trim bag. I'll probably end up with a half pound of prime and mid-grade with the rest into the trim for oil.

Yup! Gotta wait for the kids to leave after summer vacation. Doesn't look like they'll be here long anyway, with drivers ed, choir camp, etc. all before school starts. I figure mid-July...

Well, well, well... Howdy Folks!
It's been a while since I was here, but thought I should make some final comments about Miz Dubya's fate and the results of the harvest.
All-in-all not bad, but not that great either. The dressed dry weight of around 1.25 lbs was way better than I had expected. All the trim and half the bud went into oil production. I used a grain alcohol leach to strip the plant material after grinding in the blender. It took 1.5 gallons of Everclear to process it all and Yup, I got a very green, alfalfa flavored return. First, I split the liquid into 2 equal batches and cooked the first down and infused a processed coconut oil. One drop is good for 12 solid hours!
Actually, a funny thing happened during the cooking. Before mixing in the coconut oil, I stuck my finger on the spoon to "feel" the match-head sized spot of resin and of course, not thinking, stuck it in my mouth to taste it. A very bad idea I found out later. That was around 9p Friday evening. I smoked a bit of bud and went to bed later on til about 5ish when I woke up for the early "call". I tried to walk down the hall and found I was wobbling all the way to the can! I figured, "Damn I must have been sleeping good! I can't even walk!" So I did my thing and went back to bed. At 730 ish I woke up for the morning and found myself bouncing off the walls down the hall to the living room. I couldn't even freaking stand up! I lasted an hour with severe "bed spins" until I had to hurl, which has only happened one other time with some really good purple sensi. Afterward, everything chilled out, but the effects lasted into SUNDAY! At that point, I finally realized what had happened and giggled at myself for being a dumbass. The potency of the unmixed resin was astounding!
Anyway, the second batch is now a tarball in the freezer. I use a toothpick and take a half-skittle sized bead and scrape it off into a pipe. Just a quick bump of the lighter produces huge clouds of smoke. Two hits and night-night. That one bead can last 3-4 days before I have to reload it!
The rest of the bud will probably end up with the tarball. The buds are too various in potency with no consistency due to the double-stretch-and-bloom during flowering and the required early chop (at least a month I think) I had to perform.
Maybe I'll make some wax or something...

Miz Dubya is startin' to to fall down on the job. I've been getting a tolerance built up and need some variety cuz my quality of sleep has been steadily going out the window. So I've decided to go ahead and risk growing a short round of Dragons. Plus, I gave my word to Stone to grow a batch out.

Ya, I hear you loud and clear. I am having the same issue. The Bubba Kush is the only one I had that really did the job, the moonstone helps a lot now! I am sure the dragons will be the ticket for you. Stone has some quality genetics for sure!
