Grow Mediums First Grow - Hydro/DWC Training SCROG w/ Bagseed Photos

I feel ya, Stick! I spent 15 years in commercial (onsite) horticulture and this has given me fits at times. Most of my experience has been ornamental not ag, but I have a few outdoor photos under my belt from way back when.

Her genetics were a problem from get-go. I've noticed a BIG difference in the buzz from the bag and from Miz Dubya. They were definitely cutting too early! Hell, she's farther along now in some areas than what I was smokin' out the bag, so the seed stock I had was definitely immature. I wonder if they were pushing the clone mom too hard?

I really needed and planned (was asked) to get a run of SD/MS in before the kids came and now I don't have time. If I sprouted this very moment, I'd be chopping 2 weeks or more after they got here. I'm not worried about what they think, they know already what I do because of my lupus and insomnia. I just don't want them at home alone while I'm at work with an active grow in the house. It's still illegal here. You know the deal! As for drying and all, I'm not worried about that. Miz Dubya will be done before they get here.

BLOOM DAY 81

71 DEG 51%

THE SEARCH FOR MIZ DUBYA
(We've gone Bushy!)

Bushy hell! It's a damned shrubbery!

Well, it seems Miz Dubya has received a stay of execution. She has suddenly had a change of heart after nearly 2 weeks of nothing to start setting blooms again. New pistils appearing all over, even on the mature buds.

Sheeesh!!! Woman!! Make up your mind!! Worse than my ex-wife!

As long as she doesn't stretch again!!

As soon as the phone charges enough, I'll post some pics.

Are we there yet?

NO! And I have no clue how long this slow ass plant will take. Still setting new blooms. Will it ever end?!?!? I'd much rather be growing Stones SD/MS (sorry Stone! we'll get there!) instead of waiting for Miz Drag-ass...I mean Dubya to get finished.
"Others have to go too! Hurry up!!!!" Sound familiar?

I will say this...she's freakin' HUGE! I'm gonna have a few side branches that are basically, 3 foot long buds! The buzz from the samples is much stronger than the bagweed she came in.

Be interesting to see her nekkid after all the sugar leaves come off. Speaking of which, any ideas on best method for drying with huge amounts of sugar leaf? Initial dry with them on, trim first before hanging, or water flush til they all die off?

Hey brother. I know everyone likes to dry using different methods, but I like to trim everything I can before I start drying, and save all the sugar and small popcorn for hash. I have tried drying with sugar leaves on and for me it is just too much of a pain in the ass.

Peace my brother.

I feel ya Bro! I'm thinking about just letting them die off as much as possible during the flush and off the rest after the chop before hanging. I got enough "pains in my ass"! LOL! In fact I'm chokin' a bowl right now to relieve the ones I came home with!

I was thinkin' more like Timex, but that's better! Hey!! If i ain't bitchin', I ain't happy! :pighug:
She's got at most 2 weeks, then I gotta flush. She has to come down, ready or not, by June 12th.

Thx Roark! Wish I had a better camera for all the details. Scope will be here shortly so I can post some trich pics!

:woohoo:"pher Wiggle"
The RO is here! The RO is here! NO MO' MUTHA F$%^IN' JUGS!!!!!!

The downhill run begins...

Tried the RO today. This is a portable version with the faucet hookup. After flushing for around 3-4 hours, I dropped the output into a Wallyworld 30g/110L tote and it was nearly at 2/3 in 5 hours. Not bad. It still beats juggin' it! Metering showed 22 ppm @ 6.5 pH. The waste flow had so much rejected calcium, it was milky. Nice rig for $70.
So I dropped a 4" stone and some Zone into the tub. This will be add back water for the rest of the grow.

The newer tops are filling in nicely. Hope it hurries up cuz come June 7th, it's over. No matter what, ready or not. The last nutes have been added (1250 ppm) and from here on it's the downhill run into the flush. On June 5th, she'll start 48 hours of dark prior to the chop on the 7th.
