I check here every day for noob Q's & go out of my way to answer as best I can .I just had a look & cant find the unanswered threads you speak of ? .If I missed something please let me know ?. this thread gets overlooked sometimes coz you seem to have a really good insight into what your doing & don't need much help . I tend to check out the threads that do need help rather than the ones that don't .

Try not to stress out mate, sometimes it takes a while for people to find the thread and give answers to your problems. We've all had to rely on our own knowledge at one point or another, maybe ask yourself if you would know how to grow without AFN? I get scared when it goes down because I use it so much and I think we're lucky to have such a great resource at our disposal. If you don't feel confident in your own abilities read some more, that always helps and is often over looked. That being said having the AFN safety net is great, I use it every day and you just have to be patient sometimes. People using this site live all over the world and the people who might have your answers could be tucked up in bed when you are posting for example.
Remember, this is autoflower network, the journals providing info on new releases and popular auto strains are going to get more views than a thread featuring a photo bag seed. I'm not trying to discourage you from doing so, but you might have more luck in the photoperiod section? You could try PM'ing users/mods with important questions, most are happy to help if they have the knowledge - myself included.
Please don't stop posting in your journal, it can become a resource for your future grows and for the community, that's kind of the whole point here I'm sure someone with knowledge on photos will come along soon so hang in there

Hey brother, I'm not sure about the roots being too thin as I have never done Hydro/ DWC, but they and MIZ Dubya look very healthy to me.

I wouldn't hesitate to flip her per your plan. This is more of a training run anyway, correct?
I threw a photo smaller than her into my flower room last week myself. I'm not concerned with getting any kind of yield, just wanted to taste/try this strain before I grow several outdoors this season.

Thanks Stick! I've read about some who do "short shot" grows (for production) of photos in hydro, some clones some not. I've heard of 30-40 day veg then flip. I REALLY need the SD's running right now as I'm out of meds and no way to procure any more for several weeks. I just LOVE Lupus and hyperactive insomnia!!! NOT!!!

I know your frustration, Some grow logs get more attention then others, i dunno if its cause of the popularity of the poster.. or the strain they are growing.... or the setup they are using. This is the first i seen of this grow log. I personally have never done DWC but i know a fair bit about it, i will be doing it soon As far as this grow log is concerned if i was you... i would continue on posting because it will give you a reference to go back to. A grow log in my opinion is more for the Poster instead of the community because it gives you insight into past grows.

Your plants look really good, nice and lush, You mentioned flowering time between 8 to 10 weeks, I can't really speculate since this is bag seed, the strain is unknown. The flowering time can be as much as 14 weeks :dunno: Or it could finish out in 8 weeks.

It's " 'D' All of the above". This is an uninteresting little bagseed pop, so it's not surprising. A few great folks have been helpful, like Stickman here. As for the log, I have grow tracking software and my spreadsheet logs. I may post a few here and there still on this one.
Re finishing: Yeah she might take that long, but I'm not going to give her that long! LOL! I need to get these SD's started asap and don't want to have to start them in a 12/12 environment. A thought I had was to just "backseat" Miz Dubya until the SD's are in pre-flower then flip the whole thing at once. These are some of the opinions/solutions I was looking for input on.

Do you intend on flipping the lights to 12/12 for flowering an auto? If you have the space I'd say set your lights to 20/4, let the dragons run out their life cycle so you have meds asap, by that time you will have a stunner photo in DWC to then switch to 12/12 whilst you smoke your dragons, I'm sure you will have learned a lot of techniques along the way, could try topping, super cropping, lst, hst the list goes on.

p.s anyone will tell you I'm terrible at keeping up with people's threads so I apologise in advance/for not finding you sooner

No this is an a-typical forum thing. I'm in several with various subject matter from guitars and music to hardware to growing autos. Many, many threads go to the wayside with questions unanswered. That's just the drag about forums in general and has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the quality of the folks there-in. The folks here are top-notch.

OK folks, for those who have troubled themselves to look, I'm going to stop posting here. Thank you for all your input. It seems an exercise in futility to post where there seems little or no interest. Either nobody is looking or nobody has an opinion. Either way, I'm going to stop wasting my time. I know everyone has their favorites and all and that's ok. Maybe I'll restart again when I start growing the SD's and it'll be more interesting than this bagseed photo training run. I feel sorry for the noobs who ask all the unanswered questions I've read recently that are ages old and still unanswered. I'll be lurking around still, I'm just done with this one.

THE SEARCH FOR MIZ DUBYA

NO, I'm not pulling Miz Dubya. I'll be flipping her in a week or so. I've decided to bring in another 400w HID which should be here next week. When I flip her I'm going to be rocking 800w of HPS. Now THAT ought to get her done! I may change the res this weekend, though I don't see any real need to yet and may wait until the flip. Right now she's doing well and sucking water like crazy. She really doesn't seem to need the nutes though, which is very weird. I've added some more cal/mag to the res to bring the dose up to spec ( I was using a 1/8 dose) and she has shown no sign of trouble. Her color is way better than it was and her water uptake has been steadily increasing.

At any rate I need this one done as soon as possible and get the SD's running.

I'm new here too, you just need to be patient, answers/responses come in waves it seems. Also, like any forum, the more you post, the more you get noticed, thus more likely to get quicker responses. Jump in and respond to multiple topics, even if its to say, hey! I don't know, but someone here does. That helps you AND the other person by getting the issues and yourself noticed. realize, there are a lot of posts happening here, which is a good thing. Go check some of the other forums, that haven't had a post in a month! I wish I could help answer your questions, but I know even less than you do,lo! Also, sometimes it helps to re post your question in another area. I had a question about when to start adding nutes to my DWC. when I got impatient.... I reposted in another area and got results!

Miz Dubya is a photo and will need the 12/12 to produce. Letting Miz Dubya run veg that long may cause a problem with space if I wait til after the SD's are done (60-90 days) before flipping. One thing I really didn't want to do was top and this was going to be a SCROG, but my time is short and my circumstances are dictating a change. IOW, I need to get a run done and over and Miz Dubya is kinda holding up the works. So rather than jerk her out, I'm looking for viable options.

NaH Dude! You guys are the bomb! I haven't EVER been on a forum with better folks! ANYWHERE! It goes to show ya that there's something to be said about the laid-back quality of us stoners.

The equipment is ok. I've got another 400w HID coming but the closet is in need of an overhaul so the tent will fit inside. I'm a half inch short of fitting so all the shelving has to come out and get trimmed. I've got to get control over my "external grow indicators" as I start work on my other house repairs; mainly light leakage, and was hoping the tent would relieve that. Half an inch short, go figure.
