Not much new to report today. No water just light today. They are getting big. Starting new nodes every two days or so for the biggest widow. It's getting serious! Both the widows are starting to get a nice dank smell already and we are barely into veg. The zkittlez is slowly creeping along. I hope she is a good producer so I can have a nice selection of smoke!

So the widows are getting big! It's nice to see some good growth. Starting a new node today on the biggest widow and I'm thinking I will start lst soon and really expose that undergrowth to more direct light. I have been tucking leaves to get more light down there and it has been blowing up. When I bend them over it should be a pretty quick explosion in growth hopefully. Zkittlez is looking good and starting to pick up some size and is stretching for the sides of the bag. I can't wait to see how that one develops compared to the widows.

So as you can see I did some pretty "major" lst today on the widows. I exposed as many of the biggest growth sites to direct light as possible. There was quite a few on widow [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] and not as many but still a bunch on widow [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG]. The girls got another feed today at 1/4 strength veg nutes. I am starting to see pistils and I know that the widows are definitely girls, there is no doubt about it now! I guess this is the start of preflower? Do I keep feeding veg feed or do I switch to flower feed now? I'll do some research or if anyone has any suggestions about when to flush and switch to flower feed I would greatly appreciate it! I am super hyped for the next few days to see how the growth goes with all the new prime growth locations exposed to light and at a nice even height :smoking:

So nothing new really to report today besides that the nine fingers are finally here on the widows. The lst really helped because in one day the foliage has grown to cover the main stem and I had to work to find the tie down on the widows. The prime spots in the undergrowth are getting really good light now and I have fingers crossed that I have at least a few colas that fight to become the main one. Besides that the zkittlez is cruising along and has a more stretchy growth than the really compact widows. It's definitely a different grower for sure. If I had to guess this will become a less compact and more spaced out plant. This is a newer Seedsman strain because they don't even have any grow photos up yet to take a look at and see what the general shape will be. It looks super good and is already shooting seven fingers really early. It has good and uniform growth for sure. Widow [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] has some funny growth and I'm hoping it's not a runt. It had had some weird growth but only time will tell right! They handled the feeding yesterday well and I'm thinking about maybe upping it to half strength and see how they respond. Well until tomorrow!

Yeah that lst really exposed the undergrowth. They looked kinda messy right after doing it but within one day they filled in all the dead space with canopy. It's pretty insane how fast they work haha. I state like 21 days old but they were planted 3 days before that. So if you want a true date it's a little bit more. I counted day one when they popped up out of the ground.
I was a little skeptical of the lst at first, having not done it before, but dam I'm looking at multiple prime bud spots that I just opened up for business. The bigger it gets the faster it seems to grow which makes sense because the more/bigger the leaves, the more light it is able to take in/24 hour period. I was a little concerned with how small they stayed for the first week but they are really ramping up now! They even have a stronger and stronger skunk smell coming out already! I will need to install my carbon filter here soon, lest the neighbors come a knocking haha
