New Grower First Grow Ever...Lowryder 2

OK. I just started my first grow ever. I'm so noob you could see my noobiness 5 miles away at night while in a thick fog. But first let me digress. I started a grow journal a few days ago on another site. Keep in mind I had spent tons of hours researching my decisions on what my set up was going to be. One of those decisions was to use LED as my light source. I did not realize that using LED's was tantamount to arresting, trying, whipping, and crucifying you know who himself. But evidently it is. I tried to ignore it but the main culprit is a moderator and she is immune from the ignore button. And since I use LED instead of HPS I was also told by her I was not a serious grower. From studying her posts I wasn't the only one that does everything wrong yadda yadda yadda. I guess my "passion" for "MJ" wasn't up to snuff. But enough said....on with my first grow.

I live in Florida so no medical MJ is available and I really don't like buying from the public market. I really don't know anyone here to connect with and the purchases I did make were a bit dodgey. So after spending a kabillion hours on the web researching this I decided to do it.

I picked an autoflowering strain due to a couple of factors. One, they seem the least trouble which is what I wanted in a first grow. Second, the limitations of space I will have for the next 6 months or so.

So I opened up the seeds I ordered from the seed company (5 Lowryder 2's and 2 freebies. The service was prompt considering overseas shipment.


I used the paper towel method to germinate the seeds and after 48 hours and...

cool......the videos on youtube were right!
I then planted the in these pellet thingys.

So as of tonight I will just have to wait and see what my pellets will bring.

My next post will be of my set up....and yes I am using an LED for this grow. That's it...it is a done deal. That is one of the tools I will be using on this grow.

Give us a run down of what you're planning. Mfg. and wattage of your light, type of soil, size of grow area, size of pots, etc. Check out the stickied threads. Lots of good info there as well as in the Reference Links forum.

I'd be curious to know what forum gave you such a hard time. If you don't want to say here, shoot me a PM. I'm still amazed at how many LED and auto haters are still out there.

I started my grow about a month ago. This site is great. Good people that give advice not greif. My girls are doing great and every question (even dumg ones) get an answer. Good luck.
