New Grower First grow @Critical Purple Auto @600w Led grow @Need advice and help

Same here! I love when I find somebody growing in the same conditions as me! I hate to have to restrict them so much but discretion is number 1.

I bought this: http://unique-hydroponics.com/product/yield-machine-max-4-foot-ufo-grow-box-180-watt-led/

Way overpaid for what it is, but to be honest I didn't have to do anything except wait for it to be delivered so I'm happy. I did upgrade the fans inside tho. It was built for DWC but I decided to go with soil. Also I did not add any perlite, but I plan to on future grows.

Very nice I was considering that one too...

Alright guys , after putting the seed in the paper towel it grew a root maybe 1/2 inches overnight .

So guys this is what I did please tell me if I did something wrong

I took my pot put ffof mixed with 30-40% perlite on the bottom then the top half is 20%ffof 30%perlite and 50% miracle grow potting soil.
Once the mix was done I took the Fiji water and watered till I got some runoff, then gently put the seed in the soil and left the lights in 24/7

I'm kinda worried because it shows humidity is 25% and the temp with veg lights are at 30c all night

You may have a few haters by using the miracle grow, but that looks like a much better mix for seedlings.

In the states Scott's owns miracle grow and has the exclusive distribution of round up. Many people think that equates to being Monsanto.

Thing is, Scott's owns general hydroponic, gavita and a couple others I can't remember. So you miss some good canna growing supplies.

Sorry since I'm new to growing I'm completely not in the loop .
I'm more interested in other things like the humidity issues and have another question about the lights .

If my lights are 600w led that means that every time I flip veg it's only 300w and if I flip both veg and bloom then it's 600w?

Most Chinese LED lights are very inefficient so if you have 600 watts of LED going full blast you're probably really only half about 300 watts actual draw from the wall. So depending upon how your veg and Bloom LEDs are set up you might be vegging with as little as 150 watts and then when you go to bloom you get 300 watts.

So that with both veg and bloom running ?

Yeah probably 300 watts Max.

Absolutely, when you're in flower you want all the lights you can get. Even small lights shining up from below can give you an increased yield if you can tolerate the heat that is.
