Hi

Thanks to the amazing people in this forum i believe my third attempt is turning out really well, at least for now.

2 cream caramel (by Sweet seeds) ladies in 11Lt pots.
Same age, exactly 14 days from when they emerged from soil. I planted straight into soil, as mother nature suggests.

Not much to say, I think they look strong and healthy. By judging other Cream Caramel grow I would say they're also more developed than average for their age; I am quite happy considered I have only used water.
I had somebody telling me to keep it simple, and I will be amazed of what good soil, light and water can do.
After 2 failed growth I can tell that that is probably the key of success for any beginner: simplicity.
Hopefully will have more interesting pictures in a couple of weeks.

Hi rkgriffy

Yes will definitely update this soon; hopefully I ll get some pictures later once the lights go on.
I am using Bio Bizz Light Mix with about 30% extra perlite.
It's crazy; today it's the 21st day and they're really growing a lot. Everyday I need to raise lights of about 1.5 cm cos they re growing for real now. I lost count of how many leaves there are now. Also got first preflowers 4-5 days ago.
I haven't used any nutrient yet as it didn't seem like it needed it. It is growing a lot with only tap water, leaves are green and healthy no sign of any deficiency at all.
I also didn't water much. I watered 3 times in 3 weeks, including the first watering before planting the seed.
I water till about 10% run off, with tap water without worrying about pH (just let it rest at least 24-48 hrs).
They will probably have some Bio Bizz Grow next watering; probably not before Tuesday.

I am writing this cos I had really big problems with watering in my first 2 failed growth; every environment is different obviously; a drier and hotter place would probably require more watering ad example; but this can be used as guideline.
Don't over care of your plant; this strain really wanna grow; good lights, water and good soil and that thing will do everything by itself.

Also am not an expert , and I have never heard of full duplex. I know two brands which people seem to like: Bio Bizz (Mine) and Canna.
I was using pH meter and all that sort of stuff in my failed growth (cos I was using coco, a very bad chapter of my life). My tap water pH is like 8 or something (before resting, then it goes down but never below 7.2).
After intense research if you re a beginner I think it s best not to worry about your pH if you are using a good soil mix like biobizz. These soils also work as buffers, they kind of keep the pH balanced to the correct one in case you water is out of range. also it s good not to mix nonorganic such as phdown with organic soil; you do wanna show off and get that 100% organic label. and you do not wanna mess your growth:) Check online on the website of whoever supply your water and see if you can find an analysis which tells you if your water is too hard or not.
if too hard could be a problem I think; but usually is not too hard, especially if you drink tap water. I think the key is letting it rest 2-3 days possibly exposed to sun and air. A balcony would do it.

Nice man thanks for the info on what you u do +rep for taking the time to do that.plant looks beautiful also.ya I think I tend to over think to an worry but that the newb in me.I'm like 3 grows in myself and have had a one decent grow with an AK which I didn't worry about pH an all that an now I'm trying to adjust all that and somewhere I'm messing it up..also in a hemey grow right not which she not doing too bad but I'm in week 5 an looks not near as good as yours ..thanks for the reply I'll be checking back soon .

You're doing a good job seems like you have educated yourself well so far.
I leave my bottles of tap-water just 24h right next to my closet leaving it stand there for days if they don't need it.
If you don't ph-check you're even more inclined to look at your plant in order to see how she's doing.
I would even feel like having ph going up and down gets them in different ranges of nutrient uptake and might actually be beneficial (but that's just me speculating)

This strain is on my list. The stem looks really thick in the one photo. Bet she'll be an amazon!
I'll follow this. If I remember correctly, Cream Carmel is quite short, with high yield.
Best of luck to you.
