Hello Everyone! I've always dreamed of doing this and it's finally come: my first ever grow! I've been doing a lot of planning and research getting ready and I feel quite prepared for what's to come, but please feel free to give me advice.

Setup: 2x4x6 tent, 4 inch filter and fan, two 40W CFLs, one AutoCOB 55W (shoutout to @BigSm0 :toke:), 5 gallon Smart Pots Filled with Coco Loco, Perlite, and a couple of tablespoons of Mykos

I'm growing in an enclosed closet without a lot of outside air flow so I bought this Exhale CO2 bag and put it near the intake to help with the stale air (the stuff around the floor is diatomaceous earth)

Nutes: Following the easy feed schedule, with weekly seaweed foliar feeds and bacterial reinforcements:headbang:

They were at 24 hours of light and water for their first 10 days, I couldn't decide on whether doing 18/6 or 20/4 so I went in the middle for 19/5 :smoking:

Started nutes on day 10 from sprouting, AN bloom and calimagic. Here they are:

As you can see they're already growing into the side lights. This has given me an idea of doing LST, Maybe making the main stem go in an S shape or circle by rotating the pot.

I'm extremely excited and anxious, I can't wait to see how these ladies grow!

This seems to be the best thought out first grow I have seen to date. Top of the line EVERYTHING! I even like the light hanging in the center:thumbsup:

I also run my lights at 19/5 after 2weeks of 24/0.
Height on the cob looks to be perfect. If you see any extreme stretching you may want to lower the gap between but I do think you'll be ok. I am locked and loaded front row. Thanks for the shout too bro jell0.

Yes I'm the type of person who gets buyer's remorse so I might as well get something good once and have no regrets! Okay great I wasn't too sure on the height but the stems look pretty thick already for their size. Thanks for following along on my journey, I'm definitely going to get another AutoCOB for when they start to flower.

Subbed looks like a good setup great light as well.

Greetings everyone, so I couldn't help but notice they were growing sideways so I decided to help them a little bit lol by leaning them over yesterday. It might have been too early to do some LST, or I might have bent them at too sharp, but you know how first timers can get all excited and want to fiddle and tinker away... A beginner's mistake maybe or an interesting result but still a learning experience. I told myself no chopping for my first grow, but I couldn't resist bending them over

Here we are at day 12, fed them about 100mls each. I forgot to mention the water I'm using is filtered alkalized water it supposedly leaves good minerals in while removing the bad things like chlorine etc. Currently at 1mL/L bloom .25mL/L calmag hope we won't run into anything wrong nutrition wise.

Who knows if bending this one messed with the growth but the top looks like it's growing unevenly, bushy like. It's always nice to have an oddball of the group

This one is looking pretty healthy to me... Pleased so far with how it's going. Let me know if you still can't see the pictures @Yeatster , I'll upload them from my computer next time.

Hey man welcome and excellent job on the grow and choices. Not just you @Yeatster can't see the first posts pics at all (maybe a Chrome thing?), I can see the pics in the newer posts though, ah too bad. Like Sm0 said, glad to see you were able to go straight to the top shelf with your gear, nutes and seeds. This is going to be awesome, I am subbed up!
:welcome:

Oh and have a nice lil slap for an excellent start!
