Hey all,
I've been around in this forum for around a month learning the ropes. Have made quite a few posts and enjoyed everyone's comments so I figure it's time to start a journal! Have never done one so bear with me. Here's what I have at this point:
-3 autofem dwarf low flyers (1 planted on 8/20, other two on 8/31)
-3 autofem white widows (1 planted on 9/4, other two on 9/11).
*the oldest DLF was transplanted and suffered severe stress in which I made a few posts about getting help and info and I think she's finally coming around!
The other ones were planted at different t times due to my indecisiveness on how much I wanted to grow.
So here's my set up:
4x4x6.5ft tent
6in inline exhaust with scrubber
Two small fans inside
One 300w mars led
One 400w MH cool tube (have it at 150w due to it being a hot day and making my tent hot)
Both fixtures are 24in above plants
Using AN jungle juice currently. Just watered yesterday (kept the oldest DLF nute free due to yellowing of the leaves after transplant so I wanted to give her a good flush)
Temps around 76-80
Humidity around 45-60%
Growing medium is Promix with added perlite.
Small humidifier
Small heater (when it gets cold)
I also have some lavender growing as well as fresh seedlings of sage and chamomile so don't mind the empty pots around my girls lol
Just want to keep people posted of my grow and plant to remain active on this journal. So any advice, or feedback is highly appreciated. As I said I'm brand new with only minimal research knowledge with no practical knowledge. This is a thriving community and I would really appreciate trained eyes looking at my grow to let me know how I'm doing. Thanks in advanced!

Also not sure if there's a such thing as a mentoring thing on here, but could always use someone close and interested in helping me make these babies thrive!

Hey Jsacc106

Congratulations on starting your first grow. I think promix is about as far away from my knowledge base as you could possibly get. I grow in Coco and I've done quite a bit in deep water culture as well as soil. But promix, that's the one medium I've never really been able to wrap my head around. Anyway I'm more than happy to follow along and lend whatever limited advice I can.

Jingo,
Thanks for the reply. I used it on another fellow growers word mainly because I don't have access to FF or BioBizz locally and I had already germinated so to order them online would not be ideal. As for the Promix, I actually enjoy it as of so far! It drains really nicely and appears to be very breathable from what I can tell especially with added perlite. Next grow I will look for suggestions for a better medium

hi and welcome to growing :pass:
The other ones were planted at different t times due to my indecisiveness on how much I wanted to grow.
= a perpetual grow
soils depends on where abouts you are in the world biobizz/plagron euro ish.fox farms/promix usa ish.fluffy soils with next to no nutrients built in and a lil perlite, all of them much of a muchness i think.
as for mentors not to sure,we can learn from the most unlikely of sources.keep posting pics and your findings and others will pipe in.
looking good so far.
good luck n keep er lit.

Archie,
Never thought of it as a perpetual grow and it does make sense to do so! Thanks for your post. More to come!

Back for an update. All plants seem to be doing well and thriving! Very surprised at my transplant and how she has come back! There appears to be early signs of pistols so I'm excited. I've been misting a foliar mix of AN b52 and tappin root which appears to be beneficial. Excited to hopefully start seeing some substantial growth in the next few weeks!
