Summary: Hello AFN community. I always admired a friend's personal grow set up that they did. I recently purchased a home with my Fiance, and decided it was time I stop gawking at my buddy's set up and have my own. Seeds popped 01/07/2021 overnight, planted them on 1/4/21 at 12:00PM. I put them in shot glasses overnight, and planted them the following day. I actually had to plant a Pinot Noir directly in the medium due to me dropping the soaked one down the drain lol.

I prepped my medium with dechlorinated water and recharge, giving each 5Gal pot 5L of solution. Ph was 6.2, PPM was 208 (7.3/138ppm prior to alterations).

My medium seems a bit dry though? plan on picking up a water bottle to spray the top of my medium so I won’t disrupt the plant. Should I let the plant go for a couple days or am I fine giving it a light spray on top?
I also was having humidity problems, as you can see with my photos. Overnight, the humidity would hit 99%. I originally had Domes over the seeds, as well as a humidifier running. My friend said that he believes that may be too much, so I have since removed the dome and set the humidifier to 75%.

I plan on adding more photos soon, first time actually using a forum in a very long time so I'm not use to exporting photos to my PC on a daily basis, I'll try not to fall behind. Please let me know if I am missing any important info. I'm also open to any advice, I'm formally a city boy, so never tried at having a green thumb:eyebrows::thanks:
Along for the ride. Excited to see what you can produce. Love the detail!

I just planted a replacement bean of a dud Creme da la Chem, (my fav meph strain), after a 24 hour soaking. A couple sprouts had helmet head and I was only successful in removing the helmet from a Sour Crack. I replaced the Strawberry Nuggets with a strain called Psychofruit by Cream of the Crop which is very fast and most phenos have a great blueberry smell. I acquired 25 free beans from Ali-bongo, (a seed co from the UK), just for 2 credit card denials. Anyways, here's a link! :pass: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/1st-auto-pots-grow-with-cdlc-sour-crack-strawberry-nuggets.81586/

I have a couple CDLC seeds in my stash, plan on trying it next grow. Such a beautiful plant. I'm jealous of those S.Nuggets, hoping they come back soon. I believe Stan mentioned they will be back sometime this year. I actually had to plant a Pinot Noir directly from the pack because I dropped the soaked one down the drain :nono: I got a good laugh out of it though.

I just recently changed lights from mostly auto cobs to Mars TS-1000, but I grew some of the most dense buds ever with those cob lights growing Purple Nuggets. I don't have any more of the purples, but I did pick up a pack of the Strawberrys last time they were available.

With my luck, it would have went on down the drain. Nice save! :d5: :pass:

I'm on the lookout for some nuggets this year, there should be a drop this month sometime. Just waiting to hear about it.

Day 2 Update:

Heading into Day 2, was excited to see what the babies looked like. There was a little growth, the top of the coco looked a little dry. I did water the coco on Monday (5L per pot), and with the high humidity the first couple days, I'm beginning to think the coco may be a little dry. I gave each seedling 50ml of dechlorinated tap water (6.2ph/165ppm) and mist over the coco. I'm thinking if I should give each pot 1L of water in a ring around the seedling, or if I should leave it. What do you guys think? Photos are after the 50ml and misting. @Mañ'O'Green hello good sir, would you by any chance have any advice on fertigation this early?

You can just chill at this point for a day or two. They don't need that much water and 5L initial + misting has done enough for now.

If you've seen my grow, I tried overcomplicated the early days of the grow. The thing will grow with the waterings you gave. Just check RH and light distance.

Yeah, I noticed this morning I had the Humidifier on the wrong setting. Last time I check on things after my bedtime dab, will definitely do it before next time lol Light distance is currently 32inches at 100%. I'm running light 24/0 this run due to weather. Appreciate the feedback, your girls are looking real good!

Day 3 Update:

Just some photos of the kids. Seems like they're doing good! May hold off on watering until Monday (weekly recharge feed). what so you think?

Also Uncle Sam dropped off a little tip to cap off 2020, so I plan on purchasing my autopots today! I was thinking about going for the 5gal spring pots over the 3.9gal. Anyone in the community have experience with the spring pots?

Not me! I went with the 3.9 gal because my arthritic hands can't handle anything heavier! :pass:
