Hey Guys,

Finally gonna write my first journal!

Been growing a few years now, had good success with mostly autos and a few photoperiod strains and have been lurking around on various forums and finally decided to give a journal a go!

I have got 9 plants on the go as follows:

2x Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry Feminized (Currently 16 days old)
2 x Dinafem Auto critical Jack Feminized (Currently 16 days old)
2 x Joint Doctor Easy Ryder Feminized (Currently 16 days old)
2 x Barneys Farm Auto Pineapple Express Feminized (Currently 16 days old)
1 x Barneys Farm Little Cheese Auto Feminized (Currently 8 days old)

I am using ph’d water (6.0-6.5) and leave it to sit for 24 hours to get rid of any chlorine.

I will be using John Innes seedling compost, perlite, Plant Magic Soil Supreme and Plant Magic Old Timer Organic Bloom nutes

To get you up to speed:

Seeds were germinated using paper towel method and were transplanted into John Innes seedling compost with perlite (1:4) in 0.5 pots. Once they had broke the surface (31st March – Day 1), they were put under a 3x14W T5 fluorescent light in my tent (DR90) for a week until the roots were just visible at the bottom of the pot. The Little cheese never made the surface so I started off another bean hence it is a week behind the others.

The seedlings/ plants were then transplanted in 11 litre pots with Plant Magic Supreme soil and were watered until a little runoff came out the bottom.
I am currently at day 16, (8 for little cheese), and the growth in the last few days has been crazy! Both Blueberrys, both Critical Jacks, 1 Pineapple and 1 x easy ryder have already shown sex! Both Easy Ryder number 2 is a bit of a mutant and has to head now so I should get 2 main fat colas!

The Plant Magic soil should have enough nutes for 2-3 weeks so I don’t think I will be giving any nuts till around 28 days unless they show signs that they are hungry! I have seen quite a few grows with Autos with plant magic soil and Old timers nutes and they seem to love it! The pics below are of the plants on day 16 some with light on some off. Going from top left to right, Easyryder 1, Easyryder 2, Blueberry 1, Critical Jack 1, Critical Jack 2, Blueberry 2, Pineapple Express 1, Pineapple Express 2 & Finally Little cheese.

Plants had a light spray of SMC+ (Spider Mite control Plus) as a precautionary measure for any little beasties yesterday. I have had spider mites before in an outside grow area and I was able to eradicate the mites and have a good harvest using this stuff , and its completely natural, made with coriander oil I think, never thought it would work but its been great. That’s about all for now, will give a watering tomorrow as the soil is still a little damp at the bottom from the initial water after transplant.

Thanks Insert Name Here, it is gonna get cramped but I reckon they will fit it in, they are not monster size strains (i think!), unless they grow to the size of your Tundra then i'm screwed! I can always move a few outside if it gets too crowded in there!

Exellent grow journal, you covered all the bases. All your gals look good. What kind of light are you using now?

Thanks Namvet, i'm using a 400W SonT with Lumatec digital ballast that has the super lumens boost option (extra 10% lumens) which I haven't turned on yet. Not sure if you can run it with boost for long periods of time without damage to the bulb? I am using an Osram NAV-T which I think already has a slightly higher lumen output than normal and am just worried it might not be compatible with the boost function.

looks set for a great grow and harvest - welcome bro

Thanks Dutch Passion Tony! Looking forward to the Blueberrys, they are leading the way sizewise along with the Critical Jacks! I believe the original DP photoperiod Blueberry is quite nute sensitive etc, is this the same or the autos? Thanks.
