I use foliage sprays inside with no problems. I don't spray my silica, I root feed it, but the problem may be that silica has a pretty high pH. You can actually us it as a Ph up for adjusting feeds. If I where to use it in a spray, I would let it sit there for 30-60 minutes, and then spray the plant down with plain water. You could do that on any spray you feel may be to strong. It just drips right down in the soil, and you shouldn't loose any. Typically when using a spray you would do a lighter mix, as the leaves are more sensitive than the roots. Maybe next time try it at 1/2 strength of the last mix. Just keep in mind spraying in flower may cause mold issues. Try to spray only the leaves, wet flowers can create big problems inside.
