ok just pulled 4 of the bigger fans on the top of her, couple of shots of jameson and i felt nothing just wondering, and i'm sorry for hijacking your thread but some of the stems have a reddish tinge to the top of them, just noticed this today. i grew photos bout 15 years r so ago and i seem to remember pulling them coz they were diverting energy, do i remember right? should i pull them?
Naw. that's just lack of phosphorous. Peruvian seabird droppings would be the choice of you were going organic. There's several remedies chemically. if you feel like the root system is good and the rest of the plant looks good try some 10-54-10 or 10-50-10 both of Those mix at a tspn per gallon. There's also straight phosphorus that's 0-52-0 or if the up side looks good but you see some underlying problems there's some stuff called mkp 0-52-34 this is also good near the end of your cycle when you're not really wanting to promote plant growth as much as flower growth.
Don't worry about the hijacking thing. I enjoy the company.

Have your plants sexed out yet? Years ago I didn't pay attention but when they start branching is when I tend to see most problems. Think that's just because the plant is outgrowing the roots. Main thing to remember is that with soil it can take up to 3 days for the results of your treatment to show up. So give them bout a cup of water mixed with whatever you choose. if it gets worse before it gets better you might try isolating the plant and getting it a little hot. Not a lot. The goal is to make it eat

thanks for the info hitman. i just hit her with 2-6-3.5 , not what you recommended but the nearest i have to that ratio. posted a couple of pics on my log in the outdoor section. the quality isnt great but you can just make out some of the red i was talking about. would love it if you dropped in for a look. thanks again bro
Ill be happy to take a look. The ratio isn't so important as much as just the boost to the phosphorus level without creating additional stress. You did fine.
Today were at the 30 day mark. Down to 7 females. Kept 1 male for pollen. Killed 1 male and 2 females that just weren't pulling their weight. Thinking now it might have been a nutrient issue as the others are growing but not like I think they should be. Ill post pics later. In regards to the nutrient issue I've ordered the complete set from Blue Mountain Organics in Arkansas. I like buying my stuff as close as possible just in case something goes wrong and I feel like I might need to kill them. Gas is high do ya blame me? Serious enough this stuff should help. I've drenched them all again as well as my weekly nutrient and acid complex administration and here we are. They may not look the best if you are wanting to see plants with lots of fan leaves. I've tried tucking them but despite what I said earlier they're growing enough to dislodge a lot of the leaves.
EDIT: what I did fail to mention is that a couple of the plants were showing magnesium/calcium deficiencies for what I would normally consider an unknown reason. All the same though I made as close a concoction to blackstrap molasses as possible using some pure honey and pure maple syrup. I followed that with the acid complex and mycorrizhal innoculant. None fell over dead so I think they'll be ok.
I started 2 MI5, 2 onyx on Thursday. 1 snowryder Friday. 1 RRF and 1 Big Bomb today. These pics are from just a few says ago but I think you can get an idea of where they are minus a few leaves.
Nice hitman....some great information within this thread...seems ya got it going on!...Look forward to watching this with ya....I've used the BMO...good quality stuff at fair pricing...
Thanks for the support. I'm glad the BMO nutes worked well for you Automan. They are priced well. They appear to have everything a plant could ever need as well. Ill be ordering some called emerald island in a couple weeks. They appeared to be good as well...and yes boomer that's why I'm the hitman.lol
Call me weird or what you want but I like saving space and bandwith. Any of my grows will be here. Just wanted to show others what I set up. I feel like I followed the guidelines I'm using 16 oz SOLO CUPS a styrofoam insert and a hybrid dwc bubbler unit I made yesterday afternoon. ill be using the onyx more than likely. Ill be using Blue Mountain Organic Nutrients for the entire grow. So enough talk..on with the show.
