It is somewhat strain dependent. I've found that with node spacing of less than 1" I end up with very short, compact buds and have had a few issues with mold because of them being so compact. Spacing of more than an inch tends to make the buds longer and less dense. Excessive node spacing also tends to make the stems longer and less able to support the weight of the mature buds.

I know nothing of Critical Strains or yet said hadn't test grow none but the Rapido. From what I know Critical Mass intends to yeild heavy and if theres spacing between those nodes then the bud, as it matures wont be able to hold up like Muddy said.

Hey Muddy is there a way I can fix the issue or not since its in a hard focused Flowering phase now.

Just lower your lights a bit. At 30 days you still have 2 weeks of veg to go before they hit full flower. That will tighten up the nodes a bit.

I changed my light set up, I see a little difference though, hopefully she will tighten up. I will post some pics tomorrow after feeding Muddy. So far she is looking wonderful. Thank you :bong:

Great, I'll make sure and check out the new pics when you get them up.

beautiful to me ......keep it up waiting for the finish crop

Ok guys, Its day 39 and she is doing Oooo so Good . Her nodes are tighten in Muddy but there is some that need to catch up in another week. I gave her flower nutes but a 1/4 strength, didn't want to take no chances. I was thinking maybe half of 1/4 strength before I water with Ph'd water hmmmmm yah call guys. Also she has gotten some heat burns on tips, i was careless one day about my fan and left it off. She grew into the lights =( but ok only minor. I did some trimming on the fan leaves, mostly the older ones, I think they suck out the life in my critical rapido. She is also standing 3 1/2 feet :jump: Heres some Pics of the MISS's

Looking real nice. Yes, a bit stretched but it will be fine.

Thank you. The nodes are my main problem so far, I'm worried that the stems wont hold the yield. I have a fan blowing to encourage strength so hopefully it all works out. I have this one node that is spaced out, I was thinking can't I softly tie the nodes to grow into each other. I noticed when I switched up my lights some of the nodes curled into each other and the flower sites are intertwining with one another. So, instead of one node, its two in one. Would it increase yield?...I know it might mold and that is the only fallout to it. I was a success in Veg, now i'm focused on flowering and harvesting and it is a crucial moment for me. Any help will do my fellow Auto Practioners :bong:
