New Grower First AF grow, Northern Lights, Crit Mass, Cr Caramel and Af Kush. Heeya!

I sure hope so. Thanks a lot man.

Hey there AFN people. I have completed a successful transplant as of about 30 minutes ago. I took my friend, Cap'n Cure's advice. I cut them out of the party cups instead of tier transplanting. So they can get good contact with new, good soil. Or rather soil-less in my case, as I got a peat moss seedling mix and added plenty of plain perlite, no MG crap like before.

I gave them a light feeding with a light dose of GO Bio Root and Black Diamond. There was barely any movement or physical shock at all when place in their new home. They look much better just being in the new spot, which are black 8 inch round one gallon containers. It's the best and cheapest they had and at this point I doubt that they would need more than 1 gal to expand in.

I am really hoping that they turn around for the best in about a week, maybe less. I will keep a good watch and make sure they dry out well before watering. Shouldn't be long really since the surrounding dryer medium will soak up some. But for the record, yes, I did water the hole where the girls were placed into, as not not create dry pocket of sorts.

I greatly appreciate all the help that's been given. You guys rule and I couldn't do it without you. Till next time...:bong:

i'll be checking in. have a 25 day old NL auto - it's awsome!! can't believe it's development. GL

Mine I suppose is just straight NL. The beans are from Nirvana. Several people, including myself(obviously), have had problems with them. But I am pretty sure it's our own faults. At least I know that is the case in my situation. I'm going to come back to this same group after I get better and conquer them all

wow squid i did it! it took me a few days, but i finally made it through your thread..all Ive got to say is wow, great attitude! even though your going through tough times with these babies, your keeping your head up and are a good model of how people should remain hopeful and positive throughout the whole process. Its a marathon, not a sprint, so we should all act accordingly. Anyhow, I really hope transplanting them was a good idea, I just think that they needed to breathe a little. Im gonna stay very tuned in to this grow, because your gonna come out of this shit smelling like roses, or weed in this case-haha. anyways, ill be praying for some good news the next time you post, and wanna send some GREEN karma your way! :pimp:

Hey growbewan. Much appreciated man. You have a great attitude as well. Today, I have good and bad news.

Good news: The girls are looking slightly better since the transplant five days ago. Just to make sure they were good and mostly dry, I gave them their first watering today and man did they drink up a lot. Almost 2 gallons between the four of them. Runoff is still in the damn 5s though. I watered with ph 7 as instructed by Cap'n Cure. With that water and the lime in the mix I am hoping it will raise on up by next watering.

There is new growth so that is good, just not very much. I decided to trim up some of the lower leaves as they were completely dead and dry. They cleaned up nicely :D I will be posting up some pics tonight or tomorrow most likely.

Alright, bad news: And then there were three...
The NL was just so damn ridiculously small and stunted that I decided to dig her up. The roots, or should I say lack there of, was a joke. I kept her minuscule ass just so I could show you guys a pic of her. The tap rot is about two inches, maybe. :crying: And at nearly 40 days. ha!

Oh well, down to three. That's my favorite number anyways :D Thanks for stopping by in advance and be on the lookout for some pics tonight or tomorrow.

dang! i was really hoping to see that runt make it through. oh well, lets keep moving on with the others! ill be looking out for your pics man..

Man, me too. Her stem was still green. 38 days old today at an inch tall and hadn't budged a bit the whole time. It'll be ok I was just keeping her longer just to see. Thanks man.
