Indoor Finish of ICU#2 and Bad Betty

It almost has a tuch of blue velvet to it.. It has perfect structure. A nice patch of all that pheno would yeild some nice numbers.

Aw..that is STUNNING M8..

she is gonna wipe your Record weight out.

I appreciate that one my friend, and i hope so. No clue as to what it will be but i am damn glad i pollinated this bitch.

have you Scoped her.......?

Yep Just got done on a leaf, haven't done a bud yet i just cant justify it yet lol. I know it wouldnt hurt her but i just cant make the snip.

P.S. all the first JEM are coloured..
the one I thought was white is pink
all girls..all coloured..makes you wonder..

Really makes me wonder, i mean if you remember back the first female i had from the 10 pack of JEM's i bought was really LR2 dom had very faint traces of JEM in her. You had to dig back in the day for pics that even looked like her.

I really think that the colors were hoarded when JD got brought into the mix, i dont think it was JD that did the medaling though. OR it could have been mass pollination to all females in the room too. Leaving the gene pool that scattered. Who knows.

I can see the original JEM structure in my F1 so im hoping that i am not far from the color.

I have been sampling the early ICU. If this is any indication on what the big sister is going to be like then i am in for a treat. She was WAY early, like almost two and a half weeks. Still a good smoke though, complete head high like no other. All in your face and frontal lobes.

Getting close

Decided to scope a upper leaf to see what kind of tric activity i had and i can say i am about 98%-99% cloudy. I have seen some amber here and there but not a lot. Now the lower lying trics, not the extended ones are turning amber. So she is in her transformation to amber as we speak.

Heres a few pics from my eyes.......

I can see something in the sorts of a "hue" to the plant but cant put my finger on it but she sure has changed on me leaf color wise
and i can tell you that i am glad that i hit this with pollen, i too think that a lot of these would have some great numbers.

Cant wait to see the the off spring are going to look like

I completly agree with all of this!!!!! The only diff. with me was from the 10 pk I bought via JD, a.k.a."purple Ryder"...I got 7 to sprout, 2 of those died and last 5 were males with No Color.. It is this very reason why I dont have any PJems F1's & also the reason I did my cross of Sour60 X PJems..<used the skunkiest male from the 5 I had...Sooo now it's a hunting game to find the dominate trait in my cross as da wiz said; "anything you cross with a Jem will show color, usually @ F3"...Soooo we shall see!!

.............

Now doesn't that make a difference.

I'm gonna say that you don't Need a microscope to make a good cross.

I rolled JEM without..and when I did get to check under the scope..
it only Confirmed that I had done what I thought

But just being able to See your girl like That..
IMO..gives You a better Appreciation of them.

Brilliant Bro..they are Superb..

Love the Amber Nectar..something we need to monitor on ALL of them.

That particular Shaped tric is my Favourite one.

Bearing in mind there is SO little in-depth tric info out there..
I drop back to my principle theory of genetics..
the most perfectly shaped/balanced one is the Purest..

That one is My pick as Perfect.
There is a shorter/stout one where the head-case totally out balances the stalk..I find that one tantalising too.

Oh the Homework we are going to enjoy.

See the Distinct neck under the head..almost like a little glass break-off vial..
I would take a guess that they are the ones that break off easily for hash collection.
Could be a Trait for identity.

Watch the glass floor....the calyx covering..sometimes you see carpets of THC amber moving along the floor on it's way to the trics.

The trics are like little THC pumping stations...
they look a lot like a sperm delivery system don't they..

IF you didn't know it was a tric..you would automatically think plant sex organs.

 just me then huh...?

The other thing to watch is uniformity...
the more uniform they are in height and development stage..
the more chance that they ALL Ripen together..

More fully developed trics..rather than some mature and some immature.

Oh..I Love them. :hump:

I can see something in the sorts of a "hue" to the plant but cant put my finger on it but she sure has changed on me leaf color wise
Kind of a blackness coming in...?
if so..her ripening colours..shes saying she is almost through.

If it excites your eye..it means..You Know it....
so you are deveolpng a greedy eye..like me...

It is this very reason why I dont have any PJems F1's & also the reason I did my cross of Sour60 X PJems.

But if you look at it you got to bust the male side of the gene pull open to find what you wanted.
I think the Karma had another direction for you, those Sour Jems look fantastic my friend.
Im sure you'll pull color at F3 and i bet you see your first colored male soon too.

Seems my colored male had some good genetics, The pollen has stayed extremely potent and makes some nice FAT beans.
I harvested the pollen late last summer and i have been able to make a BX cross to the ICU as well as my roll to F2 on the PJ
I Germed three of the F1's to roll the count and 2 of the three were female. The male that i got was unbalanced and awkward so i decide to go back to P1 for the roll. This will at least allow another dose of colored male pollen as well as solid balance.

I also selected him as he had some dense flowers. His crown head had a square to it and thats what sold me.

Now doesn't that make a difference.

Indeed it does, my mind works that way. I love the effect of things or the results of something but if i get to know how it works as well as ow it does what it does my brain gets all excited.

I'm gonna say that you don't Need a microscope to make a good cross.

i appreciate that one my friend. And those are my hopes that i will be able to locate what i want based on simply smell and effect. Its like a favorite food, you can almost taste it if you crave it bad enough, call me crazy but think about it. :)

IMO..gives You a better Appreciation of them.

Agreed

Love the Amber Nectar..something we need to monitor on ALL of them.

i did too, and ill be watching her day by day this week. I have a feeling she is about to make a shift. IF she does its good things. Right now she is 8 weeks 3 days i want to let her go to 9 if need be. I want to see her change over. I also did a seed test today to, the seeds are at the 28 day mark since pollination. The seed i pulled today was nice and loose in the caylax and chunky nice and fat bean, tan in color. Then i drop it and Jake (male terrier) scoops it faster than i can get it......bugger. So it looks as she can be taken at any time now. Just want to see if she turns as well as how long if so.

the most perfectly shaped/balanced one is the Purest..

Only makes sense, as when we choose a specimen for breeding our eye directs us in the path of balance. Explains as you roll a generation and then scope it and see what you want.

That one is My pick as Perfect.
There is a shorter/stout one where the head-case totally out balances the stalk..I find that one tantalising too.

I have seen both on her. I dont see the shorter one as much but this gal has several raised heads. This explains the vial look to them. Raised heads are prised for hash making as you stated. These are the ones that i am after. Not to make hash only but to bring both aspects to AF's. Having resinous buds and serious sugar leaves at the same time.

Watch the glass floor....the calyx covering..sometimes you see carpets of THC amber moving along the floor on it's way to the trics.

and this is exactly what i was thinking. And if i am right she is where i really want her. I just want to make sure the seeds get the time that they need. I didnt make many so i need them all to be all stars. If i had know what this was going to turn into i would have dropped a pile of pollen on her. But i have her trapped in some bean at least.

they look a lot like a sperm delivery system don't they..
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

sure do

The other thing to watch is uniformity...
the more uniform they are in height and development stage..
the more chance that they ALL Ripen together..

This is one thing that she has been persistent about. She has several level heads on all areas. Even the ripples on the glass floor are the same height.
There are a few that are taller or shorter, but it seems that all of the non glandular trichs are the exact same length. The ones that carry the terps.

Kind of a blackness coming in...?

yep blackish, purpleish. Seems the ones closer to the leaves that are changing the buds are shifting ever so lightly.

so you are deveolpng a greedy eye..like me...

I think so, but you do remember all those tests, someone has assisted in honing in that greedy eye.
