Hold on i cant see the keyboard,i looked at one of the cobs!!!! Seriously, its bright,i mean really bright..i can see the value of the cob and why they grow so good..with the coverage this will give and the ability to have more plants getting the cob spectrum..ill be set for a bit..the next cob is in the planning stages..the first is always the worst...now,bring it on( just dont tell me wife she wants one for her fishtank).. Ill go a bit smaller on the next( maybe 9 cobs, kidding) but it can be a veg lamp before they move to the "Beast from the East" thats what i named it!!! I think i saw my plants scooting themselves over to it when i turned it on!!! I'm stoked! More than words can describe..a fraction of the cost, the power of 100 suns..whats not to like!!!! Spread the word guys DIY is where its at..and btw,i now know anybody CAN do it( cause i did) and you were all there for help and guidance!!!Tell us more!! Budelee we spent a lot of time working together and the best part of all the convo's is your reaction to the first plug in. Honest opinion on that 450 watt beast please
Thank you. What a ride and great ending. I thought I lost you a few times when my calculator brain started shooting efficiency numbers lol. Your a trooper and had your mind set. What you have created is a 400 watt light with amazing efficiency. Put into a sphere vs some of the red and blue fixtures available your equal to 1000+ wall watts of regular LED. That was wall watts! It's not about wattage though it's about light and light quality. That's what you have done. I'm thrilled brother. Thank you for the thorough thread.Hold on i cant see the keyboard,i looked at one of the cobs!!!! You guys have been awesome with sharing the info, and yes some( okay most of it) was above my head..it was a money thing to get it going..even after doctor bills and truck breaking down, this build cost about the same as the two heat generator HIDs that ive been using for three years now..its a new time, change or get left behind..the effectiveness will pay for itself in no time!! Reps sent back out..i wanted to add more pics and info but for the saftey reasons its best left out( not that mines not safe,we just cant be responsible for what people choose to do)... I will add a bit more with the hanger install and final mount!!Thank you. What a ride and great ending.
