New Grower Finally after 5 year of waiting, decided it's time for a new Grow.

Is that £11,90 per 10 pack or per dripper?

And that moisture meter from blumat is legit! Just put it in between 2 drippers and u can turn it on and get a reading after they stop dripping! If too dry or wet just adjust the flow from dripper! I didn’t check the pics so not sure how those work! Are they on a big loop of a drip line like blumats are?

My 1 reservoir has 2 separate loops so each tent has its own! Being a loop the line stays pressurized all the time and therefore always enough gravity pressure when a carrot opens up to let water out! Just looked at pic quickly but those look like the classic blumat and those each one has a line u run over and toss into a pitcher of water and it’ll suck the h2o up from it! Last question is what size pot? Even in my 5gal pots where i only use 1 carrot they each have a chain of 5 drippers coming off them so its not dripping in a single spot making dry pockets all over rest of soil! ;)

These are 7gal cuz too lazy to walk to office where the 5’s are! View attachment 1628179

Over 5gal i use 2 carrots! One standard size and 1 is the maxi 9’ kind so reads soil moisture at 2 separate levels!

Any questions give me a holler bud! ;) :d5:
I think they are like the blumat classic, 10 for 11.90 They work the same way by the looks of it.
Didn't know blumat made them before ordering.
the tube is 78cm -30".

Thanks for the tip about putting 2 in for a better spread, my plant is growing in a 10 litre pot.
Do you think I should put 2 in?
Any other tips?

Nah 10 liter isnt even 3gal so 1 is fine but not sure if those u can add extra drippers onto them cuz in my 3gal pots i did 1 carrot with 4 drippers attached but not sure of those get enough pressure to to add drippers onto them! For my setup all i gotta do is raise the reservoir if i need extra gravity pressure but def not an option with the classic kind!

Thanks, I'll go with one, see how I get on.
Don't think you can add extra drippers.

I'll probably end up upgrading again :crying:
You won’t regret it if u do! I think i am gonna order the connector pieces and the 2.0 drip tape and going back to 10gal next run but only gonna do 3! These things make such big plants doing 4 pots i have no room to climb into tent to topdress etc without pulling a pot and too heavy saturated so was a chore! Would have to turn water off to each carrot in that pot at least 24hrs beforehand and then had to hope I didn’t start slacking off and waiting to do it cuz if that happens i tend to forget to turn water back on til then so can cause issues! Also u can prob do with the classic ones as well but I don’t put nutrients thru mine! Epsom/gypsum i will but actual nutrients i topwater in if i am using liquid stuff so none gets trapped inside the feed line just sitting idle til next time it opens! Can cause nasty stuff to grow in the line! Those should do same and if u topwater anything in then it will just take that much longer til the soil is dried out enough that they sense it and open back up and do their thing!

I was out on my balcony pottering around, under the clouds... when I remembered that you said you gave your plants 3ltrs at a feed, so I just wanted to show you this;

this pot holds about 80ltrs, contains a 10yr old Wisteria that I cut back to the trunk last autumn, a ton of tomato plants and other odds and ends, In the height of summer I give it upto 2.5 liters 1 day, 1.25ltrs the next.
this time of the year 1.25lters a day is more than enough for 2-3 days
I use the simplest drip feed method I could devise. an old bottle with a 4way 2hours per liter spike drip feeders.

The point I wanted to make was that "it takes only a max 2.5 liters" in the height of summer (and it can get up in the 40'sC on my balcony cos its a sun trap on the top floor) for all of this to thrive in a massive pot using just tomato nutes.

I know of course that they not the plants we love to grow in a controlled environment.

Don't think I'm going to use the auto watering stakes.
They don't look that good.
Not sure if they would work well enough.
I agree they look like crap, and the piece that goes into the water pipe is very weak and easily broken, BUT... they do work well on the balcony. I have noted using bio tomato nutes can also block the system with gunge when the sun is strong and its warm, but a quick vacuum pump and they are up and running again.

i dont use the stakes in my tent as yet (this years balcony is test for the 4way stakes) I use 6 small drippers stuck in a circle of pipe when growing. I will try the 4 way stakes next run.

The reason i brought this to your attention though, was the amount of water used in such a massive pot with so much heavy growth and the simplicity of a system.

@Bob's Auto's , I gave the plant the Orgatrex yesterday and today the leaves are looking more yellow.
They had been yellowing and dropping before the orgatrex.

Still troubled by the lack of smell,
I cut of a couple of tiny buds, I know they are not ready but wanted to try, see if I get a buzz.

I'll post a picture up in the next day or two, I think she has about 2 weeks left.

Can I ask, are they still flowering furiously? are the buds fattening up?

You say only a couple of weeks to go :cool1:
In my eyes, the fans dying off should not be an issue, So I am going to say, sit back, roll a bone, pick off the fans as they yellow and consider it a natural phenomena, it happens with a lot of plants, why not with yours? :baked:

I think they are fattening up, but I also think the flowering has slowed a bit.
I'll get a picture or 2 up tomorrow, so I can compare to last week.

Thanks for the reply,
on Muddy's autoflower life cycle guide he says it's normal for yellowing to happen.

I wish I could roll a bone that was worth it.
I'm still smoking my no potency, crap tasting weed. :frowny:

I have all my hopes tied up in this 1 plant. :yoinks:
