New Grower Finally after 5 year of waiting, decided it's time for a new Grow.

Buddy, nothing to worry about.
You have probably been watering to much during flowering. It happens to all of us...The lower rootsystem will die off and start the putrefy, which is causing your issues. What you did, by letting the soil dry out, is stopping that process and by watering with the Bactrex you've again added new beneficial bacteria to the soil.
Now you just give plain unadulterated water for a couple of times and then hit them again with a dose of Bactrex mixed with Orgatrex. This will feed the bennies and myco in the soil and repair everything that went wrong.

Will your plant recover like nothing happened? No, absolutely not. You've stressed your plant with the necessary delay in growth. The old yellow leaves will die off and fall from the plant. Let that happen, at least until the leave itself starts to dry out. Then everything the plant want's to get from that leaf is recovered and all the waste is put in it's place.
Don't let that put you off, it's a learning thing...Next time you will remember not to give as much water when the plants transgress into flower.

Regards,

Bob :toke:

interesting concept, fill the reservoir, top up the small caps let physics take it course. I do hope this works and gives you peace of mind

I just use a bottle with a tube and drippers stuck in it.

Yes, read about them on royal queen seeds, I was reading about plant watering, and Automatic Watering Stakes were mentioned.
Their main purpose I think is so they can provide water to your plant when you are away.
But I thought they might help with learning to water and the correct amount.
We'll see.

Thanks for the points @Lil Dab :toke:I'll learn how much and when to water somehow :coffee:

Welcome from what I’ve heard that is the only moist meter worse owning those cheap ones are garbage..

Don’t sweet I’m still learning how to water myself

Also I doubt you’ll get him over here he doesn’t leave LS so maybe pop into LS and talk to @Fermented_Fruitz cause he runs a full blumat system like those stakes.. He might be able to give some pointers.. I don’t know much about them other then you need to make sure you pack the soil tight around them and prime them properly

Is that £11,90 per 10 pack or per dripper?

And that moisture meter from blumat is legit! Just put it in between 2 drippers and u can turn it on and get a reading after they stop dripping! If too dry or wet just adjust the flow from dripper! I didn’t check the pics so not sure how those work! Are they on a big loop of a drip line like blumats are?

My 1 reservoir has 2 separate loops so each tent has its own! Being a loop the line stays pressurized all the time and therefore always enough gravity pressure when a carrot opens up to let water out! Just looked at pic quickly but those look like the classic blumat and those each one has a line u run over and toss into a pitcher of water and it’ll suck the h2o up from it! Last question is what size pot? Even in my 5gal pots where i only use 1 carrot they each have a chain of 5 drippers coming off them so its not dripping in a single spot making dry pockets all over rest of soil! ;)

These are 7gal cuz too lazy to walk to office where the 5’s are!

Over 5gal i use 2 carrots! One standard size and 1 is the maxi 9’ kind so reads soil moisture at 2 separate levels!

Any questions give me a holler bud! ;) :d5:
