New Grower Finally after 5 year of waiting, decided it's time for a new Grow.

Ive had a lot of recent plants get red stems. I’m thinking it’s either genetics or my light(MH FCE-3000). But there’s no other side effects. All the plants grow great, produce solid buds, frosty as hell and smoke great with good potency. I’m still a little puzzled but I don’t worry about red stems anymore. Your hell raiser is looking pretty good there bro

Hellraiser has red I in the genetics from the DEADITE kush.
My LECTER has the same trait. Red stems from week 2 .
Nothing I would be concerned about mate .
Looking killer.

Thanks you very much for the reputation points @NORBY :toke:

Thank you also for the kind comments everyone.
Thanks for letting me know about the Hellraiser and stems @Sawney_bean
and thanks @R Wayne, you could also be right about the red stems and led lights,,
hopefully she ends up being a beauty and the smoke is FIRE!

I have the FCE-4800 and I can't turn my lights up to 100% otherwise I cook my plants too. It might too intense with running the UV lights at the same time. I just dial the light back a bit and have no issues.

Thanks DDubs,
just did my daily inspection of the plants this morning and the lower leaves that only just started to turn yellow are now looking quite a bit yellower.
I am hoping it's just because of this:-
"week 7-9 - By now vertical growth has stopped and the switch to flowering nutrients has been made. The buds will start to fill out and put on weight, becoming hard and tight. Pistols will start to change from white to brown, orange, red, etc. By now the plants will also have developed a strong smell. Toward the end of this phase the large primary and smaller secondary fan leaves will begin to turn yellow. This is an indication that the plant is moving toward the end of it's life" - which is taken from here:-
it could also be underwatering, lack of light or maybe even magnesium deficiency, as the leave veins are still green, or even nitrogen defiency.
I'll pop a picture or 2 up later, when the lights come back on

I haven’t been able to run my fce3000 higher than 75%. Even then it can be too intense for the plants.

Here's some more crap pictures, can't really tell from the pictures the problem. The problem is spreading to other fan leaves.
I'll have a look at it outside the tent tomorrow.

Been thinking on things, I upped the potassium and phosphorous yesterday, only a little, maybe it's a lock out.
I think I have a few choices about what to do.
1 - leave alone, it's a natural part of the growing cycle, like muddy says in lifecycle of autoflowers thread.
2 - I have a bit of soil which has silicium flash in it and startrex in it, I couldn't fit it in the pot when I made the pot up. I have 300ml of soil, I could do a little top dress.
3 - give a feed of orgatrex, which has most of the recommended nutrients.
4 - add a bit of magnesium.
5 - just feed water for a while

Any ideas what people think?
Thanks for looking.
