Very nice work, bro. Not all auto's are going to amber. IMHO, when we watch the leaves to determine maturity, we are letting that particular plant tell us when it is ready. To me, the AA1 looks ready yesterday, and the NYLPD can be taken any time you're ready. The other mature AA's look to be closing fast... you should have a very enjoyable next week or two. :thumbs:

I'm with ya brother. Done. One more day holding out really helped. We smoked a doobie off her this morning and I was literally standing outside in my back yard staring into the woods! LOL This is one of the strongest strains I've EVER smoked and I'm not just saying that because I grew it. I was even more shocked at myself that I actually did it right this time!! Thanks Joe for all your harvesting time help!!
She was stronger today than yesterday and I know what you mean about autos and amber. I have been watching the sugar leaves. I am following your advice even though it may seem like I'm not!
I know your experience with the AA and I take that heavily into consideration... Also I see a bit more amber in the NYLPD which leads me to believe she will be ready way before the 60 day mark... I don't want too much amber honestly. I like my THC.
Chopped and trimmed during the WVU vs. LSU game. The game was so heart breaking thank god for POT!! Even when your guys are getting their butts kicked at home when you're harvesting a big ol' Assassin everything seems right in the world!! Even though we harvested about a 1/3 of her I think I will still come close to a full zip with her. So I probably would have had close to 2 zips if we didn't touch her but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
You know I've brought pictures... That's a full size Bic for the record. Will note official weight after a few days in the Dry Room. Picking up a Hygrometer in a few days. Doing it right this time. She's a sticky sticky lady! She smells so sweet.

To answer your question about odor... I'm not doing anything about it at the moment. I need to though. The house does smell. The house is private and secluded so we don't have to worry too much but I want to address it soon. I was considering a carbon filter but I know nothing about them. Can you or any of you guys give me some suggestions on odor control?

hey bro gratz on a good harvest looks like she did her thing for ya! cant wait to see what the nylpd looks like all trimmed up and harvested! shit she prob is rdy if ur seeing that much amber maybe she matured faster since it was smaller. i'd sy for odor control get a carbon filter but if u keep your closet open not sure if it would do anything prob have to ask someone with more experience than me lol

This is another thread Ive missed along the way so will go back and have a good read through but harvest pics look nice!
As for odour - let me be the first to saty I have an 8 year long blocked and crap sinus as a result to side effects from eyedrops but can still smell a bit. I usually have my wardrobe open - with a reflective blanket across the door to keep most light in but theres lots open space around the sides - I gotta to keep air happening plus one of those wardrobes that is a pain to close uptight anyway. Even so the carbon filter does a good job of sucking out the smell. When I stick my head in the wardrobe theres nice smell but overall the bedroom is pot odour free - though I do keep bud and chop up in here and there are a few smelly socks... When I have lights and fan off overnight can definetely smell more in my room but dissapears again once carbon filter back on. Theres also an automatic spraying air freshener outside my room near the door which helps mask it in that direction. Cant them here in Aus but the ONA (odour nuetrelizing agent) blocks are supposed to be pretty darn good! Im planning on getting a cple when the bank balance says ok - I dont think they are all that expensive but unless I can find some in Aus the postage from US to here will be the big $$ part of the transaction.

Hey Killa! Thanks a lot bro! Yeah she did extremely well for us. Never had a yield that big off one plant. We've been smoking on the early harvest for over a week and still have all that left so she more than sacraficed for us and I'll be forever grateful! Yeah I'm going to give the NYLPD a good once over with the scope later. Maybe I'll chop her tomorrow. Mrs. Reb wants to try her before chopping so I may pinch a bud off her for one doob but she is getting milkier by the day.

The house has a nice skunky citrusy smell to it lol My brother in law came over again tonight because he said our Assassin is better than the $50 n 1/8 crap he bought yesterday LOL so we let him come up and share a doob with us. Like I said he's a light weight so it's nice to share a normal size joint between 3 people and get toasted! And that means a lot coming from him cuz he has such a low tolerance! I must be doing something right!!
Dude... The NYLPD is just insane. I chopped her today. She is milky as I've never seen and last night we smoke a doobie and we were both stoned for almost 2 hours and let me tell you it helped me sleep! The stone is so NIIIIIIICE!!! You get hit hard but it's not overwhelming where you get couchlock and can't do anything. The stickiest bud I've ever seen or grown. My fingers were practically sticking together when I trimmed her up! Holy Sh*t man -- We're counting down the days til we can get dirt so we can grow more of this strain PROPERLY!! I'm STOKED right now. Between the Assassin and the NYLPD we're having a HELLAVA weekend!! :smoke:
