Hey hey,

I'm realizing more and more how helpful it would be to have a nice grow tent (or five), but funds are extremely tight and will be for a while. In doing some research, I found that I can get rolls of the grow tent fabric. After some math, I can closely replicate the Secret Jardin Intense 150 (10'x5'x7' and sells for $1,500) for $300 or less in materials.

I've never seen a grow tent in person and was wondering if someone who has one and has a couple of minutes could snap some pics of theirs. I'm particularly interested to know how the seams are joined together and how the ducts are attached. I'm fairly handy with a sewing machine and was thinking I can attach the lengths of fabric by sewing them together with a super tight stitch and then taping over the seams; reflective duct tape on the inside and black Gorilla tape on the outside. I'm still not sure how to attach the ducts though.

Any pics and input / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey bro I saw ripster put his tent up yesterday, here's the link, he snapped a few pics but if you ask him he may put some more up for you mate https://www.autoflower.org/f43/ripsters-home-thread-2058-28.html

I use a secret jardin tent but mines real small 2x2x5 and wouldn't be worth copying mine,it don't have cool tube vents etc like ripsters had bro

The budbox makes use of curtains a lot to make more lightproof around zips.

Cheers, REC - I'll give ripster a shout.

riz, bro thanks for takin those pics! They've given me a great place to start. Looks like I need to find a good deal on some zippers :toke:

what about sticky velcro strips. I used them in the past and they were actually really good. You don't have to stick them onto the edges of yer sheets either which means overhang and slightly better lightproofing. They are relatively airtight, enough to allow a passive intake hole to work.

Ebay. I have used atleast 4-5 different tents from ebay and they work. I usually paid somewhere around $150 for a 4x8by 6.5 tall. Or $100 for 4x4by6.5 tall. Buy the one with the shiny reflective on inside not white . Tents work great for co2 with tank and reg since it saves space. Also they all come with extra layer for bottom so where water runoff will sit. Wont damage your carpet or floor.

Check Wallyworld, (A.K.A. Chinamart, A.K.A. Walmart) I have seen them there.
