Fast Buds Fastbuds Tent Takeover

Hey Like2learn, welcome to my lil grow corner. The wife and I discussed it a couple years back and ultimately decided against it. I didn't like the idea that it could open us up to inspections. From what I understand it's pretty rare for them to check but it happens. And I'm ok with being compliant with plant counts ect, but I may have overlooked a permit or two that I've been planning to get for the framing and insulating my basement lol. A few more plants would sure be nice sometimes, but for the most part 4 is enough just for the wife if we just stick with autos and not have to worry about clones and stuff with photo's. However, there has been some mistakes along the way and I've been forced to swallow my pride a time or 2 and pay for some weed. The price of "black market" weed has sure tanked here in Canada.
ya im also in canada. i wonder if your allowed to grow 4 for you and 4 for your wife ? or is it per household ? you can usually find ounces on the black market for 100-150 cad per zip.. but growing comes in around 50/60 per zip in my experiance lol every little bit saved helps

It's 4 per household sadly. Yea it's not hard finding $100 ounces on most online stores even. It's kind of another reason I don't bother growing more than we smoke. Every time I'm offered $100 for an ounce it just makes me cringe and want to drop kick that person! But I just smile and politely decline. Pretty interesting looking at the cost to grow per ounce. I've tried to work it out for myself before but it just makes my head hurt.

Family photo day ! Front left is Gorilla Cookies, in the back is Lemon Pie, and the one in the front right small pot is Purple lemonade.

Things are moving rather slowly, day 72 on the Gorilla cookies and Lemon pie. They still have at least 2 weeks to go yet I would say. Maybe more for the pie.

Purple Lemonade: She's been evicted from the tent, if you zoom in on the left hand side you can see the branch I reversed its full of balls. She's a Mommy now ! Or a daddy maybe ?
Day 46, 30 days after the start of CS. I stopped spaying last week, some sac's started opening the last couple days.

Chop time for the Gorilla cookies. She was an easy plant to grow but challenging at the same time. She's had a lot of side branching up the middle making it difficult to really get light penetration down into the buds, lots of defoliation towards the end. I probably could have done more earlier but I was getting annoyed because my hands would get to sticky. Next time I grow GC I'm going to need a better strategy to open her up.

And here she is all trimmed up. 480 grams wet. I divide that by 4.25 and get pretty close to dry weight. Should be around 4 ounces. (excuse the feet and the piece of hash hanging out in the corner of the pic). **(EDIT: 4 ounces and 6 grams dry)***

And this is how I dry my weed. I put a small handful of bud into paper lunch bags and put them into a box with an intake and exhaust. I use a small pc fan to push air through. After a few days I go though them and fluff it all up and make sure nothing is bunched together and continue drying.

is cs reversal very difficult?
Not at all. You can buy CS from a health store or make your own up pretty easily. Simply spray a branch 2-3 times a day for 3 weeks and you should have male parts forming on your plant. Around 4 weeks I start plucking them and manually pollinate branches I want seeded. I usually remove the branch before they start spewing pollen on their own. I like to keep it controlled as I don't really have a extra space.

when start spray? before flower? early veg?
I start as soon as I see the white hairs showing sex. You want to do it early especially if you "self pollinating" the plant you are doing the reversal on. The plant can get to be a pretty old lady by the time the seeds are ready.
