New Grower FastBuds: LSD-25, Pineapple Express, Northern Express and Tangie`Matic

With autos it's good to avoid hot soils at seedling stage. And start small with nutes and work your way up.. it's easier to add more than to take away

Noted! Do you have any low-budget tips on cooling down the soil without inserting another fan?

Sorry, referring to hot soils I meant nutrient rich soils.. better to start them in neutral soil and let them get some legs underneath then start feeding.

I agree 100%! Unfortunately for me and my 4 girls, I learned this after they had already broken ground in this soil!
Will definitely go with a neutral soil for the next round! As for this one, I just have to plan my feeding schedule around the already rich soil.

As far as transplanting, you will be okay aslong as you do a little research and you are careful..( i transplant at around 10-13 days into the final pot)

10-13 days you said? They are going on day 17 now, so will transplant them today. Pictures will come!

Your plants stems are a little weak, can you get an oscillating fan blowing on them to help strengthen them? Or perhaps you could lower your light down a little bit. When you repot your plants you can bury them right up to the coteldyn leaves, the first two little round leaves, just stay a centimeter two below that and you'll be fine.

Great feedback! I was having the same thoughts, but was also thinking it would be an auto thing :wall:
Got my fan set up like this, and the plants are getting good air circulation.

I could still fill up more soil in the pot, if you still think that would be necessary(?).

More soil is an easy way to prop them up and perhaps best. Although, some guys will put sand or clay pebbles on top to provide a barrier to bugs and that would also prop them up. If you ever do use clay Pebbles they're very alkaline I must be washed thoroughly.

Another good input! Thank you!:pop:
Since I still have some space left in my bucket, clay pebbles is probably the way I will go next. Thank you!

After great feedback from an earlier member, the girls was transplanted into their final home today. Since we noticed some signs of overwatering yesterday, and the soil was very moist during the transplant, they`re getting one more day before feeding. Here is the current setup we run for the girls.

I have never grown before, and I am very new to the industry. I appreciate you sharing your experiences, and hope to start my first grow if I can get out of North Carolina where they can't even figure out which bathroom to use, and where it is illegal to grow anything but micro greens.
