FastBuds help

May not be the problem, but I pH my soil today and it was just over 7 so I put a little apple cider vinegar in the watering to bring it down a bit. Looking at local water report, out water here is basically all purpose fertilizer all by itself but ph is 9 to 10, I think the compost may be helping it stay low but not enough.

Way better growers here than me BTW.
Most of the work is going on in the root zone to fill out those big pots for the last few weeks. Maybe look a little small, however they may also take off and start to double in size every few days. Keep patience and if after a few more weeks maybe reevaluate the situation.
Good luck.
Cheers,

These things didn't root out but 4" ball. I popped them up today to see what I was looking at, they are like tennis balls. Roots have gone essentially nowhere. Is my medium too dense? Seems light. 50/50 light warrior, black gold compost.

Do you water the entire pot or just directly at the plant? I’m no pro but maybe the soil needs to be more saturated for the roots to expand into. Doesn’t need a lot in veg stage.

I water around the plants foliage, not to the edge of the pot and not in the center either. Just a circle around, and I don't water to runoff most times, I just keep it dry on top moist at 2in deep. Water every 2 days, once a week with diluted all purpose fert. When I feed I saturate whole pot to runoff. Only done that twice though.

Heavy potting soil will stress autoflowering varieties, preventing their roots from accessing adequate amounts of air. Roots may also have a difficult time penetrating and growing through a heavy medium. Found that on RQS website, I think this is my main issue. I think I'm going to try a hempy bucket next time, with a single plant and be more careful with my water condition. PH and temp that is. Thoughts? I saw a hempy grow at 14 days that make my month old plants look small lol.

Ok time for a rethink, stuck a new buddy in there, this is gonna work better I hope, the others can go outside next week and hempy will have the closet. If it works well it will get a buddy and another light.

How many watts is the light? For being 4 weeks old, they look a tab small. I think they need more light. And as others have said, make sure the whole pot is saturated.

110 actual watts, they look real bad right now, lowered the light a bit and they didn't like it at all. I raised it back up a bit and drenched the pots, they going to get extra sleep tonight. Thanks for the input.

I'm trying to zone in this light, it's pretty powerful for a chinese blurp, I think I had it too high then too low. Seems to like 18 to 20 in.

The closet is still going, despite all my abuse, I have to say, FastBuds genetics are strong. For all my mistakes they are healthy now lol. Don't smoke me over the purple pic plz, I was in a hurry out the door. Mex air is flowering, I dropped it and broke some roots I think, it has been growing odd since but it's going. MA is the one with bird dook on it lol. The og kush is pre flower stretching right now. It's gotten bigger than the Mex air. In the hempy bucket is another Mex air. Looking freaking great. Those 4 small ones are reg. Gelato bagseed. And that messed up looking one is I don't even know. Seeds I found, 5 sowed and only one germinated. Every leaf is curling down at the end. They start healthy then do weird shit. I'm just playing with that one but it does smell dank. Thanks for the visit and I am getting better every time I plant a seed.
