Indoor FastBuds and Mephisto in Solo Cups

Looking good amigo, this reminds me that it’s transplant day for my three Lil MobStars. The structure on your plants are definitely promising for a decent harvest. How tall are they roughly?

The CBD is the smallest at 14” from the rim of the cup, and the Sweet n Sour is the tallest at 23”.

Growing some monsters in those solo cups bud! Thats a very nice n clean set up youve got their lucky plants!

What would your hopes be to yeild off your solo cups? Per plant? I have plans to run a solo cup outdoors this year just for fun to see how it goes under the sun where I actually have some skills at growing unlike indoors. I like the buckets that you cut the lids to hold the cups that was a great idea. Did that do anything to your root zone like change the temps in the buckets or make them retain water longer? I imagine a black bucket would have gotten warmer and possibly acted like a humidity dome probably why you cut the big holes in the side and chose a white bucket? Anyways looking great bud!

I’ve grown two solo cup plants and got about 1 1/2 zips off an Auto Blues and 2 zips even off an Auto Cookies. That’s just my limited experience growing in solos but I’m sure others have done similar.

I honestly didn’t really plan on that, but I’d be happy with an oz off each for sure! The roots weren’t air pruning themselves without the holes in the buckets , it stayed too humid like you said. Now they dry up soon as they poke through the bottoms of the cups. Worst part of the white buckets, is the amount of algae that grows in the runoff water. I don’t mind it, and just stick the shop vac through one of those holes and drain the water like that.

I’d would be more then happy with either of those amounts!

Week 5 (Day 37)

Well you gotta learn the hard way sometimes  . All four plants have had some deficiencies show up, some uglier than others. Like Ive told myself a few times now, 4 Autocobs in a 2x4 is too much light! I had them all running just to keep the temps in the tent up around 76°, but the high intensity has now started taking its toll.

So its now damage control time...

I pulled 2 of the Autocobs out of the tent, and raised the other 2 to 24” above the canopy. I flushed all four plants with some water and florakleen @ 5ml/gal just to reset everything in the cups. I also reduced the feedings to 4x a day for now. So hopefully these few steps should get the plants back on track.

Watching in amazement nice to be proactive but the whole solo cup for a pot = wow. :pop:

Did you check the runoff ppm and pH when you started to flush them?

I never did no, this weekend I’ll test everything coming out of the bottoms and see where theyre at. It was a 10pm get’r done while I had some time kind of situation lol.

Appreciate it brother! I already know I could greatly improve these plants the next time I grow in Solocups! Living and learning each day.

Week 6 (Day 44)

All plants are back on track now. I did end up checking each plants runoff, and everything was fine there. I believe the flush and removal of the 2 lights stopped matters from getting worse. Buds are frosty, and are starting to bulk up now! :smoking:
