102 hours since sow and I’m still not seeing the germination I want. Give it to the end of the day and consider my options.

0/2 Cosmic Bomb
The problem has to be environmental or soil based as I just had a perfect germination of Bernadette 41/41 in a breeding run

@FarmerJake I had the same thing happen 2 years ago. Now I just buy a bag of seed starter mix. Put divots in the soil with a 20oz plastic cup pushed maybe 1/2 way down. Fill with mix. I’ve had much better results since. For optimal results your space needs to be 80+f imo. I leave my lights on 24 hrs for the first week then switch to 20/4.

You don’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you’ll find you get what you need. The solution was simply my watering technique. I am using a 3/8” tube to squirt RO on the soil surface and the valve I had let out droplets that unseated seeds. So I Mcgyvered an old spray nozzle onto the 3/8” line and now there is no more aggressive droplets….dialing the process in.

Day 10 for Twenty 20 Hot Damn! She is hitting symmetry right on target. First true leaves had damaged tips upon germination but that didn’t seem to slow her, nice color and she’s always praying for the light

vpd has been way off as the seasons change and the furnace remains running. Lowered lights to 30” above soil surface 215ppfd and ~20DLI running 24/0 for now but will hit a 20/4 soon still trying to fill one spot with a strain
