I been asked many times to give fim advice so I figure I just post how I do because I think some people are cutting off too much and stunting their plants. you no need to cut off that much. I don't recommend new growers to try unless they have a spare. in case shit goes wrong.know what im sayin. ok first she is 15 days today and on her 4th node.here is the tools your gonna need.

ok now see she on her 4th node. you can barely see the crotchs of 4th node.

now use your finger tips to fold down leaves, like they were set of lips, so you can get the tip of plant up and leaves folded so crotches show like this.

May I ask what's your lightcycle and did a fimmed plant ever turned into a hermie ?

I have fimmed 2 Dark Devils en 8 Punisher#2, the fimming seems to work nice but one Dark Devil turned hermaphrodite :Grrr:.

No hermies on autos yet.visible anyways. Get a seed here and there though..I grew 4 photos and 2 hermied from light leaks. Im running 21 and 3 now but used to run 24/0. I got 3 seeds from my blue auto mazar.

Faded I tried to fimmed 7 autos yesterday. Hopefully I did a better job this time. If not, no worries cause it didn't hurt the last one I tried. I will keep you updated bro!

Well, brotha Faded, I said what the hell, I got this OG Kush Auto from dinafem going give it a shot. And as usual I F'd it up and ended up topping at day 15. Now I will be getting 6 main cola's and am really enjoying the difference in growth. Take a look.


Kushy Day 25 (10 days after topping)

If you look at the bottom of the last pic, you'll see a little stick. 10 days ago when I topped this she was only an inch or so taller than that stick. I don't see as it took this plant any recovery time after topping, she exploded in growth immediately.

THanks for sharing your technique. I did it once a few plants back. I was pleased with the results.
It ended up giving my plant a lot of main stalks.

I really like it, I just measured the OG Kush and she is almost 29" tall now and is just beginning to show preflowers. She has put everything into growth,and nothing into flowering yet. But if each of these 6 main stems flower like a true dominant main stem, then this is going to be truly interesting

Holy shit, if this Kush goes 11 or 12 my photo Mother will get huge before even hitting flower. I'm already kinda nervous about how big she may get in flower. take a look
