I been asked many times to give fim advice so I figure I just post how I do because I think some people are cutting off too much and stunting their plants. you no need to cut off that much. I don't recommend new growers to try unless they have a spare. in case shit goes wrong.know what im sayin. ok first she is 15 days today and on her 4th node.here is the tools your gonna need.

ok now see she on her 4th node. you can barely see the crotchs of 4th node.

now use your finger tips to fold down leaves, like they were set of lips, so you can get the tip of plant up and leaves folded so crotches show like this.

fast forward 40+ days and this is what she will look like.only she will have 12 main colas instead of 10.

I'm introducing this instructional with your name on a dutch forum, i hope it's ok ?

I tried to fim some auto's today, maybe a little too late , but the 4th node was bigger than your example. I fimmed eight regular auto's (homebreed by a friend possibility 60% af of 30 % semi-af or 10 % non-af) and the sizes of the fimmed parts were 2 till 15 mm.
I have also 2 Dark Devils, just at their second node (germinated 4 days later)
So i would like to try them to fim correctly like your instructional.
Or would you recommend not to fim the Dark Devil ?

Topping auto's should only be done by super autoflowers, but when is a strain a superautoflower ?

you can put wherever you want. I just put up to help. I top and fim all my autos. no matter what breeder or what length of grow time. if I ever lose any grow time its only a couple days.peace
