Eye Love Lemon heads

who the hell would get offended?lmfao!thats weird..lol I liked it when you popped onto my thread n just yelled Popcorn Biiaaatch lmfao!! i thought that was frigin hilarious!!:Sharing One:

uhhh yeah man, your not the guy who was on the Live help thread were ya?? I ask cuz this is the third time ive been asked about that very mix..and essentially its the same answer.thats a great mix Im possitive but it needs to be worked differently imho.not saying anything bad about FD's mix but its just how it is.great components they are just for different purposes. its Black cow, unless you bought it almost completely dried out(which ya shouldnt do at any rate lol) it needs to be busted up..take all those little pieces n break them up well and add a cpl gallons of perilte and a gallon or two of a heavier soil like dried out chunky Dr Earths.or Spagnum peat moss would wrok really well too. problem is if that its been sitting there not breathing for X amount of weeks, them foods have bled into the soil causing an odd toxic effect essentially which many would think adding acidic components would solve this..its possible it could be too late but i think if you just bust it up re work it with perlite and some spagnum peat moss or even some decent soil(let it totally dry out first though all broken up,or mostly dry out anywho) and IF all the stuffs are still in ok shape it'll buffer out well.if not it'll have to be thinned and reworked with the same exact components shy of maybe an extra one of two cheaper things.

and on a side note iva made several batches of soil with baby foods(powdered) and imho the synthetic vitamins that are infused with the food(s) can and does throw the PH and activity out of whack so it will also depend on what type of baby food(s) you buy.. they work just used sparingly is all.and that Black kow is excellent its just a heavy heavy compost especially if its stored wet and not broken up n aerated..thats all bro!make sense?

is that a double batch by chance?? thats a lotta blood meal, could use more kelp and more crushed eggshells, perlite and prilled lime or Dolomite lime powder n maybe a lil bit of alfalfa and rice/oats too.more mild than blood meal and less acidic and wont bleed as heavy once blended

No it wasnt me on the live thread, oK well I guess I'm a bit saved as I did see all those clumps in the black cow and completely dissolved them, and did add a lot more extra perlite than the recipe called for througlhy mixed it for a couple hours moistened let it dry to where the water was gone but soil was moist and then reworked it, and I have been stirring it, I had heard that about baby food so I made sure to buy a organic one with one single grain-rice. I can definitely add more things to it I just don't want it to gt highere in pH. Only thing I don't have that you listed is powdered egg shells, I can deff add more of all the other things you said

oh ok cool. so you added perlite then.thats good.and an organic plain food is good too. yeah just break up them clumps mostly and let dry out a bit more..did you add any lime at all?cuz if your respiration is solid..hmmm,what way are you testing your soil?a probe?

but if you added lime thats even more oddball. but id add lime(prilled. but not necessary.powder is fine) several gallons of spagnum peat moss, azomite,Kelp meal, powdered molasses and crushed eggshells.not powdered.you can add powdered too.but thats not necessary. you have plenty of blood meal in there so id avoid any more n for the time being.if ya have anyh peat humus you could stick a lil bit in there too. but where your at right now id add that once broken up n dried up a bit then re worked and re moistened with quaility filtered water and cal mag(full dose) and use that and stir well atleast once each week for the first two weeks then let it sit unsealed, has to breath.but if its dark you could leave the tote open too.also if you get an inoculate or add some myco mix to it too. thats a tough recipe to work with from all Ive seen of it. but for what its worth brother thats excatly what id do till it tests above 6 n less than 7. especially if your not PH ing water. if your PHing your water things may have to be taken into consideration on some level with OH staying power..but lemme know how it goes man..PM if ya gotta.hope that helps ya out!:Sharing One:

OK thanks a lot and makes a lot of sense specially since I used the soil for some plants and giving them even a tee bit of ff nutes that had n made the infamous nitrogen tip curl. I did add like a cup of lime didn't add more because I had read lime tries to keeps your pH at 7.5 and it'll adjust your soils pH to reach that pH. I must've been misinformed. Yes a accurate 8 soil probe can't test ATM my dog chewed it up but have one being shipped already. I tested it 2 days ago before my DPG chewed it.

yeah man as long as the rest of the soil dont have synthetics in it it should be fine before too long.got the aeration covered something like 8-11 gallons of perlite should cover 50 or so gallons of soil well. and with 50 gallons of soil Id use a total of about 3 - 3.5 cups mixed really well should do you ok.should balance it out pretty well id think. especially if you add some other stuffs I mentioned. simple stuff.Molasses powder ,eggshells(and combo of crabshell if ya got it) kelp meal some azomite (or combo of rock dusts) and an inoculate with some myco powder.and when your ready to re wet it you could also use a good mellow brewed tea thatll also help kick start it some too.something between a foliar feeding strength and soft bloom tea ,rounded for bloom Id think since you have soo much blood meal in there.dont forget your carbs too.rice or combo of rice n oat(steel cut works well ground in a blender):Sharing One:

Sounds like I'm making a sunday dinner lol appreciate all the help, I knew you were the right person to ask. So much knowledge, myco any substitute for it or any place where it's found.

sure bro no sweat man!well good food is exactly that good food. consider the cooking of the soil the digestion (sorta kinda) of the stomach eating a good meal slowly with no acids lol!! but yea man you can harvest microbes from the land in season.or if its warm out as well.more activity when things are warm.
