Hey ld :smokebuds:

I'm currently running a PHAT filter after having run a cheapo carbon filter for a while. I'm VERY happy with how the PHAT filter is working. Very well-made and can't smell a damn thing. Whichever you choose, I would recommend getting the prefilter. Most filters come with one, but just in case it's something extra you have to purchase. They'll extend the life of your filter and can be washed off and slapped back on when they get dirty.

I'm currently running a sunleaves windtunnel inline fan and a phresh filter. The fan is the best of the ones i've owned prior to this one-plastic housing and super quiet and a 5 year warranty. When i first coneected it to my exhaust system i thought it was broke and not working as i couldn't hear it lol. The phresh filter is lightweight aluminum and does a helluva lot better job then the old htg fan/filter combo i had.

I had one of those RAM fans for a day,way to noisy for my room but really powerful. My first filter was a cheap one that lasted 8 months I then got a rhino and it's almost twice the size a should last 2 years. The fan I use now is a Manrose.

im looking for the quietest fan that i can find, preferably from a european shop but if not i will order from anywhere lol, my grow room is pretty close to where i sleep.

u can get fans with tempeture control on them and theres a few diy solutions to a noisey fan.my :2cents: worth:peace: and good karma sj

The Manrose is Quiet, even more so now I have it suspended from the roof on elastic straps.

just had a quick look on youtube at the manrose fans, is the one you have the same one that you would install in the ceiling of a bathroom? if so do you have a cf attached to it? and how did you do it?

iv heard a few people that have said if you can wrap some foam around the fan it can help on the noise situation is this true?
