Extraction help needed

Hello I have a Small 60cmx60cmx120 tent I have a small 5” duct fan that moves 210m3 of air per hour using it as a a extraction I have it connected to a 5 inch kaizen carbon filter that is rated for 125/300 - 430m3/hr I am pushing air through the filter with both the fan and filter sat outside the tent, is It okay to Have such a small fan for then filter ? When I touch it their seems to be hardly any air passing Out the filter but my plants are into pre flower And are pretty stinky and theirs no smell outside the tent so it must be doing the job and the temps are fine as am only using a mars hydro ts600 Thinking about going to get a in-line fan but they all seem to be a bit of a overkill for such a small tent any advice would be highly appreciated thanks

imho it's better to have too much airflow rather than not enough.

Get a fan with an adjustable dial on it. So you can scale it back or up depending on your needs! Then buy one size up on what you think you need.

that carbon filer will be restricting the airflow a lot.

Thanks for the reply just bean to the grow shop and picked up a 5 inch inline and its made the words different in their

also can you have to much Negative pressure the tent is sucking in quiet hard now lol

Well make sure (if you haven't already) to open a small vent to allow some 'passive' intake.
