Grow Mediums explosive autopot grow! newbie autopot grower

Use the online "Advanced Nutrients Calculator." The schedule/regimens (all the recommended supplements) remain the same no matter which pH Perfect nutrient base is used.
Yes of course, I am talking about the coinnoisseur schedule you were using :) thanks for help tho

I essentially use everything AN recommends at its 'Grand Master' level plus other stuff during a grow including:
Rhizotonic
HydroGuard
AN Microbial Mulch
AN CarboLoad
ReCharge
CALiMAGic
Pro-TeKt (silica)
AN Ancient Earth (low-dose, e.g., .3 mL/L)
Mammoth
Terpinator
Snow Storm Ultra
Medicino Avalanche (kelp-derived bud hardner)
AN Mother Earth Super Tea Bloom (as a supplement)
Microbe-Lift/BMC (high-dose Bt)
Seaweed Plant Food/Neptune's Harvest

Plus, for as long as I can do it, I feed foliar using Transport/Optic Foliar, particularly for cal, mag and silica, with these salts best kept out of the main feed, with too much salts overwhelming AN's pH Perfect chemistry.

Thanks for the tips! Its easy to get lost in between all the product. I will try and get the whole line. Do you use additives at full strength?

I do not always use additives at recommended strength. I often use less, such as 1 or 1.5 mL/L, depending on how much other stuff is being mixed in. I can't think of any supplement I'd ever use at above recommended strength (other than P-K boosters, with my plants wanting more).

And when you look at my list, keep in mind there is some duplication of very similar functioning products, such as CarboLoad and Microbial Munch, and HydroGuard and ReCharge.

Alright, I am worried about burning my plants with the constant bottom feeding, is there a recommended PPM range that I should stay at when making nute mix?

There are many diverse views on how concentrated/strong to feed. Many or most will just say start out low and work up, letting the plants tell you when you start get too high (nute burn), with about 1/2 recommended dose generally what many AN users settle on. Others will use ppm measurements to determine their feed strength.

As with pH, I simply haven't bothered to even bring out the ppm/EC meter for years (but I'm not a good role model), and I see no problems. I stick largely to the AN schedule at only 2-2.5 mL/L base nutes, including minimizing mixing high salts additives, such as cal, mag and Si, in the feed water by feeding these foliarly using Transport/Optic Foliar for as long as I can.

thanks alot for your time, this is really answering my question! I will go from their schedule and work something out! I see their Sensi Cal Mag can be used as a foliar so I will do that. Do you think Rhino skin and sensi camg sould do it as a foliar? for cal mag and Si? Also how often would you foliar that mix? or how often do you foliar with transport/optic

For cal-mag, I and many others use CALiMAGic. AN's cal-mag is really called cal-mag-plus or something similar, with it having a good amount of N in it (best avoided in additives if can, particularly during bloom). Any decent brand silicates/Si source should be comparably usable, substitutable for Rhino Skin if desired. During veg and early bloom, besides feed watering, I foliar feed (Transport) cal, mag, Si and often base nutes too (if the plants look like they can take more than their 2-2.5 mL/L base nutes feeding).

I was only using Ca/Mg, AN sensi bloom, Big bud and PK. Look at showcase jorunal (CR+ 2.0 and WW XXL). Picture is is worth 1000 words.

Hello people from the autpot section! I am blasting, a professional blaster working a 7 days in 7 days off schedule away from home and also an hobby grower, I just recently found about these autopot and bought my self a kit because thats seemed to be the best for me with my not so nice schedule for growing.

This grow will start in my 2x4 tent until my 39x39 tent finished.

The setup
  • 3 pot 15L autopot system with two air domes only (store ran out was too in a hurry lol)
  • 2x300W Mars Hydro, 1x300W Roleadro 2nd gen full spectrum light
  • 2x4x5 Fusion hut tent
  • 4 inch Vivosun inline fan + filter
The bigger tent
  • Mars II 700W and Mars 600W panel (pretty much 50w/square feet)
  • 39x39 Mars Hydro tent
  • 6 inch ventech fan + filter and controller
  • Same autopot system to be transfered
The nutes and the medium

These were transplanted into a 50%Canna coco/50% perlite mix and poured lots of mycho, my clones were in 0.5gal soil pot before, I hope i didnt do a mistake transplanting into coco, the guy at the hydro shop said that was fine.

Veg nutes
  • Sensi grow a+b
  • Voodoo juice
  • Sensi CalMag
  • B52
  • Rhino Skin (not on AN chart but was recommended to use by hydro shop)
Bloom Nutes

I found out about the Sensi coco line after buying the sensi grow, I am not sure yet wich product of the whole line I am getting, but Im thinking Sensi Coco Bloom, Bid Bud coco, overdrive, bud candy, sensizym and one of their microbial product. Please enlighten me on that one.

The real deal

I am presenting you my babies today, they were grow to this stage in a closet with a 30W T5.. they are not as healthy as I would like them but Im pretty sure they'll take off. Left to right is Mazar from DP, Crystal candy and green poison from SS.

Mazar (from seed) other are clones

Transplanted them yesterday january 26, they all got 2L of distilled nute water.

  • 2ML/L Voodoo Juice
  • 1ML/L cal-mag
  • 1ml/l sensi A+B
  • 0.5ml/L B52
  • 0.5ml/L Rhino Skin (Sillica)
I am still unsure about this whole next line of nutes, and also about autopots. By the look of these plants, how long do you think until they root down so I can start reservoir. Mazar and green poison are air domed, crystal candy is not.

Thanks for passing by any advice is really appreciated since this is me second grow ever, and my first grow with autopots. Happy growing everyone!
With autopots I turn on the airdomes when leafs get right to the edge and then turn on rez once they cross over
