(Experienced Growers Only) Controversial Defoliation Increases Marijuana Yields - Photoperiod Plants

wow! mustard gas while you sleep bob? jm is an organic man:dance:

lol i havent noticed any difference in health since starting to use em , health always sucks too though lol just no difference , but yeah i dunno how organic they are and even though they arent a spray or similar i wouldnt open a new one near harvest time

peace

JM any update soon?

well guys... my 1st test reults were, I'd say, inconcl;usive.... too many ongoing issues to trust the results... and being of pure scientific desire... I will reconduct this test under better enviro controls in the future... for now I have to say no results noticed in gain either way. But I cant rely on this test... and that is why I deem it inconclusive.

cheers mates!

:smokebuds:

@Bob... maybe my cats and I should go away for a week and pest strip everything... :)

sounds like they are effective... though I'm unwilling to further compromise my health to kill a parasite... I'd rather duke it out organically ... :)
I got my Lavender Mohammed Ali over here... :)

which means it looks darker below the leaf to a human than it does to the plant because our eyes are most sensitive to the green spectrum

This made me giggle a bit, does your plants have eyes? Just kidding :D

Awesome thread, I subscribed because my hydro system has the pots verry close to eachother and plants get verry crowded and light penetration is not verry good. I'm totally not experienced I wouldn't dare to try it yet, i stick with LST and leaf tucking, but it's good learning..

I'm really interested in defoliating my photos now. Has anyone tried this and had conclusive results? I'm tempted to start on my plants that are in week 2 of flowering but I'm a little nervous

I removed some fan leaves from one of my critical jacks so I can compare the results next to a non defoliated plant. I'll share my results when I see some changes :D if this works as stated i should get a huge pile of dank bud cause i have them under my 1000w HPS :bong: hopefully this won't hurt my girl I'm still a little nervous

View attachment 183711 View attachment 183710Man this picture thing still dont work for me.LOL! Anywho, I plan to stake down a photo bean this season, and last season I did pretty much that.I trimmed most all the fan leaves off over the course of flowering to test that very theory.I had solid results truth be told. That was truly a Fantastic read too.Thank you!! :joint:

You could say well if its supposed to have em they wouldnt be there.ya well dang man I have a spleen too.Take it. LMAO!:joint:

I use defoliation methods outdoor.. Even on latest auto indoor..
I only use the method maybe 2 times topps. Never never after 2-3 week into flower...
I'll usually defoliate some at the start of flower. Helps with air flow, more light.
I would agree tho that some strains might not take well to defoliation. Bushier the better
works for me anyways...
