"Evol Seeds" breeding project

What should my first cross be?

Wow, the breeding project had some great lineage to cast a vote on. Figures I would place my ballot on the least popular. Either way lets see these babies go. Woot woot.

I'm such a pervert, I await to see each of these ladies bred according to the poll.

@ stoking I did a lot of research to pick the genetics for this project and any combo would be great. Unfortunately I had those germ rate issues and refused to use the ppp, CJH, or ssd because although it was imo the distributors fault and not the breeders I do not want to risk bad genetics. The AKS are all going strong and I have not germed the black Russian yet.

I decided to make my own version of an auto AK (aka evol) and the rrf + boo combo (babushka). Also tryin to get a good yielding single cola og kush by breeding the most og kush like kvs together.

Thanks herbal! Yes the look, taste, and high off of the kvs is good (taste and high are 100% og kush) but I need to improve on yield before its released. I'm only gonna get about 8 grams from this one. I think the "Evol" babushka seems like it will be ready for distribution first. My local test growers want it to be ready now but I want to get at least a half Oz on the kvs.

what size containers are you using for that kvs?
(looks like a red bull can lol)

your evol babushka is looking amazing! you moving on to f2 and selective breeding? or just starting an f1 with stable autos for seeds making?

It is a redbull can but its tiered onto a 1 gal pot. I'm pretty sure I hurt my yield because I started the seed in just the can then once it got bigger I cut the bottom of the can out and put it in the pot. I should have just started with the can already cut and put in the pot.
Yes I'm moving on to F2 with the babushka. It is already what I want with the F1 but since these are being designed for a low profile outdoor grow I want to stabilise it. I want people that buy these seeds to be able to make their own seeds that all grow the same. I wouldn't want someone making seeds and thinking they would get all small plants and end up with a 3ft tall one getting them busted

8 grams isnt bat for a stunted 1 gallon grow.

you can definitely improve yield without effecting the cross -- guaranteed you will do better next run! :wiz:

when you say low profile outdoor how tall are we talking? and ofcourse autoflowers or did i miss anything?

excited to see your project play out! -- this is just making me more anxious to try my own seed run (still researching at the moment)

I know I'm after the fact but was just chiming in...How is the grow going?

@herbal. Yes outdoor autoflowers. I would like 1ft to be the biggest but I'm trying to keep it between 8-10in. This goes back to years ago because I saw the cops raid a house and look all around the property for more plants but found none. I knew the entire time that a stunted photo was growing beside the shed but since it wasn't a BIG plant (only about 11in) they didn't notice it at all.

@Rumblerod not going the way I planned but it is going good. I'm making a lot of progress with the autos.

I decided to make a small batch of colloidal siver last night around 4am and took some pics of the process for anyone wanting to know exactly how I make my cs

cs 001.jpg First gather all the things you need. alligator clips, 9v battery connector, 9v battery, distilled water, mason jar, 1ft 12guage .999 pure silver wire, cardboard, duct tape, and multi-tool.

cs 002.jpg cut a hole in the cardboard to fit evenly on the mouth of the jar. connect the alligator clips to the 9v battery connector.

cs 003.jpg cut two holes in the cardboard and put one clip through each hole. cut the silver wire in half then bend each piece in half and connect each wire to a clip

cs 005.jpg fill the jar with water and put the cardboard lid on top of the jar with the silver wires in the water but not touching the side of the jar or eachother.

cs 004.jpg make sure the alligator clips are not in the water but most of the silver is. I should have bent the not connected side down more so it was in the water.

cs 006.jpg finially connect the battery and place in the dark. I just put a cardboard box over it.

also I will change the battery at hour 12 because its a cheap one. I normally use good batteries but I decided to do this at 4am and used what I had around.
I will post pics of the finished product and test it out on one of the AKS clones I left in a party cup and am forcing to flower.

nice post evol - definitely helps with visual tutorial.

have you thought about connecting the 9v in series? such as this video below:

should help out with not having to change the battery -- not sute if its a little overkill tho.
also im not sure if i missed it -- but do you reverse the whole plant? or have you had success with just a spraying a section of the plant?
